My son loves it

He really gets into Ash's battles in the quest for another badge and loves how Ash does his best to protect all of the Pokémon

Her mother and I were too old when Pokemon came out in the USA (Senior year of High School) so we are a bit lost on Pokemon. But she liked it.

Excellent Roadtrip For Kids
