I love this game, so does my kid. We carry the pokeball plus everywhere we go and press the button when our pokemon calls for attention. My kid leveled her first pokemon from something like level 8 to level 22 after just one day of strolling with 7000+ step-count. It really helped blasting through the early level opponents this way! I would highly recommend it if you haven't already started the game!

Any Pokemon fan will enjoy this game. Whether you are new to the series or have played since red and blue. Especially if you have played red and blue! As a remake to Pokemon yellow, this stands true to the original games with some added features. Don't let the lack of wild Pokemon battles discourage you. It is surprisingly balanced and an absolute Joy to play. Truly what the switch was designed for.

Loved this game to the very end. Plus the Pokeball plus is nice touch to this beauty.

This is a great entry into the Pokémon series especially for newcomers, and the Pokémon Go-esque mechanics are very easy to pick up even more so with the Poke Ball Plus.

A good trip down memory lane with some twists too. It's a nice looking game too. My only complaint is the catching mechanics are inconsistent, especially with the pokeball plus.

I got a price match from a target and Best Buy employee was very nice about the process. It is worth it because the pokeball and game are included for the price of the pokeball. Game play is fairly simple. Kid loves it. It is a bit redundancy and a lot of button pressing each time you catch a Pokémon before able to go back to game mode. It is a good fun game for kids. Adult not so much

Definitely tying in nicely to Pokémon go--you catch pokemon the same, and gone are some of the stuff from most of the series like random encounters and having to fight/flee from every single pokemon you see. Has the charm of the original games with updates for people who might not have enjoyed the original gameplay, or at the very least wanted to see the two games merge together a bit more.

Honestly, I don't know why people think this game was targeted towards kids between 5-10. I'm in my twenties and I think the game is really fun. I like how you see the Pokemon in the wild and you choose to encounter them or not. I always hated, especially in caves, how you within each three steps you would encounter a Pokemon. The graphics, music and animations are fantastic. Love this game.

My brother and I each got this game (Eevee for me, Pika for him). We both grew up on Gen 1 so this was a wonderful return to the roots. The best part was that we got the game over the Thanksgiving holiday and were able to adventure alongside each other, beating gyms and trading Pokémon at the same time. There are many pleasant surprises in this fun and manageable game. Recommend it highly!

This is a great remake of Pokémon yellow and it got rid of that horrible battle system so all I have to do is catch them all and I thought this game would be easy but having to grind catching Pokémon to level up which takes time if you’re not doing combos, my friends only complaint is I have big hands and the poke ball controller can make my hands cramp also it’s the only way to get a mew

Have started the game, and it's a relaxing stroll down memory lane. It's simple enough that I can share with young kids who've never played a Pokemon game in their lives. The controller is an added bonus. While it takes some time to get use to how the buttons are laid out (and the manual unfortunately doesn't help much in this matter), it's fun to "toss" it to catch Pokemon.

I bought this game for myself only to have my husband decide he needed to play it too. He loves the Pokeball it comes with, I prefer it without. It took us exactly one week to completely finish the game but there is stuff you can do after you finish. I think if you really want the pokeball, it’s worth it. If not, just buy the game itself but you do get Mew if you buy the pokeball.

Purchased this bundle for my daughter and the included Poke Ball is a big plus. It's a Pokemon Go Plus, so counts steps, will catch Pokemon for you, etc. just like the original one. You can transfer your Pokemon to it, and if you shake it you'll hear your Pokemon. It also lights up around the joystick. Great accessory for Pokemon Go and Let's Go. She loves the game as well.

Not much to say here, it’s not the traditional Pokemon, but I will take this over Pokemon Rumble Dash anyday as the debut Pokémon game on the switch. It’s Pokemon without the grind and I have no idea why people are offended by it, it works great in my opinion. If you played first gen I absolutely recommend picking this up, and it’s a great first Pokémon game for the kids.
