Bought this version for my SO after she watched me playing the Pikachu edition. Game is more fun than I thought it'd be (I thought I'd hate the PoGo style stuff but it isn't that bad). Pokeball Plus works well and is a fun addition to the game. I haven't used it for anything other than a controller but if you play PoGo it works as a PoGo Plus type accessory as well.

A remake of the original game that realizes a lot of the potential of the game. Actually venture out and catch pokemon- no more wandering in the grass waiting for a random battle to start. Actually toss the pokeball at your target, and save the battling for other trainers. This is really an enjoyable experience- especially if you've never picked up a Pokémon game.

Fun game and brings back great memories. Love the Pokeball controller.

If you enjoy the first generation pokemon games and/or Pokemon Go, you will likely find enjoyment in these games, but if you are a fan of the more complex mechanisms and newer pokemon of more recent titles, you might find it to be a little bit lacking. This is a good Pokemon game for first timers as well, because it teaches the basics without getting convoluted.

"I have now fulfilled a childhood dream of having a pokeball." That is the quote my wife said to me 15 min. after opening this on Christmas morning. If your or a significant other have things that needs to get done do not purchase this as you will be playing this for hours.... If not days. I've watched her play it several times and it looks to be a great game.

My daughter loved this game and she loved the pokeball controller.

Playing through this game has obviously been very nostalgic but at the same time refreshing. The updated music is stellar and the visuals are captivating. Being able to see the Pokémon roam around is probably the best change they made to catching Pokémon. Not to mention having them follow you around! This is an absolute masterpiece for a reimagined classic.

If you played Pokémon red blue or yellow growing up like I did you’ll adore this game! It’s even better if you play Pokémon go still as you can transfer your Pokémon into the game to play with on the tv or on the go! Also the coop in the game is really awesome! Great entry level Pokémon game that is first and foremost fun! The poke ball plus is also fun too

This is the best way to get someone new into Pokemon. It will give them an enhanced experience over the originals, while maintaining much of the greatness that introducted the rest of us to the series. I thought the lack of battles with wild pokemon would be a big problem, but I found that it was actually pretty enjoyable to have a streamlined experience.

My first foray into Pokemon was with Red, Blue, and Yellow. I hadn't played Pokemon games in years until Pokemon Go got me back into it. When I heard about this release I went out and bought a Switch and got Let's Go. While the beginning of the game is very easy, the difficulty does start to ramp up after Cerulean. Catches get a lot harder and some, like Kangaskhan were a real pain. The game is fun though it can get repetitive. That is pretty much the entire Pokemon series though. If you enjoy Go and the original series, this is a very nice marriage of the two.

Better than previous iterations. Poke Ball is a nifty accessory.

This game is so much fun. I bought this as a gift for my brother since I got the pikachu version. Highly recommend getting the poke ball along with it so you have access to mew as well as the ability to level up your pokemon and get items when you aren't playing. =Plays great on the switch and catching pokemon instead of battling is a welcome change.

I remember the day when I went to the mall to pick up a GameBoy Color and a copy of Pokemon Blue. The game has tons of charm. I love the little tweaks they made to the pokemon formula (choosing natures, wild pokemon in the overworld) and I hope those carry over to the next iteration. The only problem is that competitive battling is a little lacking.

This is a great remake and playing with the poke ball is cool.

Great game, easy to use and loving Mew from the Pokéball Plus.
