I haven't played a pokemon game since silver/gold first debuted, so this is quite a fresh take of the game for me. Although I know that scripted events is a thing with pokemon, it doesn't seem to have the charm in terms of its writing for the quests. Nonetheless, I'm having fun with it, even though it seems to drag on a bit. Imagine my surprise when pikachu was actually voiced. I spose that's been a thing with the recent generation of games.
