Customer Ratings & Reviews

As a Pokémon collector of 12 years, this set has been one of the best to open. Hit after hit, beautiful card after beautiful card. My binder AND my heart are full. The Nidorina promo card with this Elite Trainer Box has great colors, with a bit of a little call back to the fact that Nidorina is #30 in the Pokédex. This is also Nidorina's first illustration rare! The coin that comes with this box is pretty.

I had been looking forward to the Pokémon 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box and camped out at midnight on release day just for the chance to purchase one! The design and 30th anniversary theme make this ETB feel extra special. As a longtime Pokémon collector, I’m thrilled to add such a memorable anniversary product to my collection. Definitely one of my most anticipated Pokémon releases!

I pulled the mew ex and mewtwo ex from my etb!! I’m so happy Pokemon came out with this set and that Best Buy provided the products on drop day.

You can’t go wrong with 30th at BestBuy, the only place with msrp, will buy again!

This product has been fun to rip with the kiddos. We will continue to buy it for the pikachu’s alone.

Beautiful artwork. Stunningly designed. 10/10 highly recommend. A set for collectors. Don't overpay to scalpers.

Amazing det for the 30th sny collector will want this product.

I haven't purchased Pokémon cards in over 20 years because of the nostalgia of the 30 year. Anniversary, I decided to pick up a box upon opening. I realized 5 of the 9 packs were damaged. One card in each had cuts in lines over the cards. I contacted pokemon about it and they gave me a sorry, excuse. Oh, why they couldn't do anything? And so I decided to leave a review, a bad one for their lack of concern. So where's the product? They sell bad company. Bad customer support deserves to be outted for such behavior. I guess 20 years of not buying these cards we're justified, I saved myself from squander money, and unneeded frustration.

I purchased this item from store #499 in Oakland, CA on Mandela Pkwy. This purchase was part of the initial release for Pokémon Trading Card game 30th Anniversary. My family and I were able to get products and had a great time opening the cards at home. We absolutely love the set and would encourage this Best Buy location to get more allocation on releases. The staff was friendly, great, and professional, especially Vanessa. The upsetting part was the crew of customers that were rude and tried to intimidate other customers while everyone was waiting in line. In particular a gentleman named "Bola". He was upset because when he arrived to get in line there were already 20 people in line ahead of him. He started yelling about how this Best Buy is his and that other customers should know that. He showed up with a crew of four people or so and plopped down ghost chairs. He spent the night away from the Best buy and drove over to the nearby Target for their Pokémon release at 7am that same morning. When he returned, he showed up with 12 new people, and they proceeded to claim that the ghost chairs were theirs even though they had never waited in line or showed up until then. He was complaining the whole time and yelling at other customers in line that him and his friends were taking the spots. It was very rude and a bit concerning. I would recommend that this Best Buy location do a ticket system for Pokémon releases like I've seen other Best Buy stores do. I would also highly encourage this location to consider banning Bola and his crew from future releases. They harass other customers in line, smoke weed in line, and try ot cheat the system with ghost chairs.

This set is just generally so fun to open up. Not a bunch of bulk but you get something in every pack with the guaranteed pikachu and then with the boosted hit rates, it seems unlikely to be disappointed with this set. Plus it’s a blessing to get it from bestbuy because they always change MSRP..”

Had to wait in line for a bit on the initial release day for this item. I still love that it is offered at MSRP and not at the current market value. Going to wait until the holidays before I rip into it.

I woke up late and arrived around 9am was number 75 in line thankfully best buy has limits so i was able to score amazing products at retail best buy saved a lot us from the scalpers i love best buy

Absolutely loved how simple and quick the checkout and select process was, employees were very enthusiastic and easy to work with! Will 100% be returning!!

The hit rates in this set and how much they are printing this set is ruining the product for scalpers, so now actual people can have a chance to get some.

Kudos to the staff for the organization and keeping it clean and simple for everyone! This is the best product Pokemon has released so far this year

Great cards in every pack lucky I was able to get ahold of one these! Best Buy made the Campout smooth and opened on time

Really high quality. Love everything inside. The value is there. The packs are great to open. You won't be disappointed

Pokemon knocked it out the park with the 30th Anniversary products and Bestbuy is always the best place to buy for true MSRP.

Greatest value in town. My grandson loved opening this. He was so excited. Thank you Best Buy for your wonderful customer service also

I love these pokemon packs. The way best buy does drops is great as it gives everyone a chance with a limit. Good price as always!
