This is a good way to help get anyone into the TCG. Has 3 different decks to help your play style, and you’ll be able to customize when you have your own cards to help build the deck you want to build.

This was gifted to me. Im more into collecting the packs with random cards inside for the fun. I can say that this is a very good box set for any person attempting to learn and play the Pokemon came. All cards are preset and the same for every set.

Good for beginners trying to learn how to play the game

Best Buy had the Battle Academy game which I gifted to my grandkids. It taught the kids and the adults as well, how play the Real Pokemon Battle Games! We Love it!

Contains three decks, none of which have type advantages over the others, 2 of which are set up to allow for immediate play straight out of the box. The rule books guide you through the first couple of turns before setting you free. The third deck is there to allow you to switch things up. No abilities on any of the pokemon and no pokemon tools. Also no burned or poisoned status tokens or cards that cause statuses. Definitely meant for people just starting out in TCG. If you're looking for great or powerful cards for your existing collection or decks, I would recommend looking elsewhere

Very fun pokemon training game! Very helpful in training novice players or pokemon trainers to know how to play pokemon TCG. It teaches you how to place your pokemon in the fighting or 3 base slots and to evolve, energize, and attack with your pokemon. My son is 8 years old and had the time of his life playing this game with me.

I'm a Mother of a son who is new to the Pokemon interest. I bought this as a Christmas Gift for him. I was more than surprised what all it comes with. Excited it came with 4 packs of Cards, which means I didn't have to shop extra to play the Game itself. So that is almost a triple Bonus. Highly recommend if you are a beginner like us or you just want a Pokemon related Item!

Bought this for myself and my friend, who had never battled with pokémon cards, only in the videogames. a lot of fun. lovely to have decks built for you, easy to understand, great layout of the board, guide, tutorial, and whatnot. Great for starters who want to learn!
