My son asked for this game as a Christmas present. He loves Pokemon and plays the game often.

Well worth a play through, but veterans will find this game much easier than previous generations. All that aside, it's fun to go around a new region, see new places, and catch new pokémon.

I'll admit I was skeptical to play this game because I loved the originals so much, but I thought I'd give it a try and I was not disappointed. It's new, but has the character of the old games. Love the nostalgia.

Haven't played Pokemon in a while but Pokemon Y made me feel young again! Must buy!!

Good 3ds game. Not sure how this franchise is the second highest selling of all time behind Mr. Plumber himself, but it holds some immense quality behind the waterfall you can't access yet.

A lot of different views were taken on what the next generation of PKMN games would be like on the 3DS family. Some were hype, some were cautious. At the end of the day, absolutely incredible game. It's a game worth going through for the experience!

If you ever liked a Pokemon game this is for you. The game has all the best things that I enjoyed in classics like Pokemon Yellow but improved, and then some. Not a big fan of all the new Pokemon, I liked when it was only 151 of them but game is incredibly good anyway.

game is easy to play and provides challenging battles which provides me lots of enjoyment

The game is awesome all around. It suffers the same thing other 3DS suffer....graphics in the 3DS XL screen look a little pixelated but thats not a problem of this game is a Nintendo problem. If you are a fan of the original games (red, blue, yellow) you'll like this one.

This is a great addition to the already amazing series. The 3D world now lets you move in 360 degrees rather than the 4 directions from previous installments. This is probably the closest we have gotten to a full 3D Pokemon game. The World of Kalos is fairly small and the story line is a bit underwhelming but thats not the reason we play Pokemon. The online functionality is amazing, allowing you to instantly communicate, trade, or battle your nearby friends or through the internet. A great game for any new and old fans of Pokemon.

Game is great for all ages and can be played by beginners or seasoned players. There is no grid movement when using the circle pad, a big improvement. Generation V Poke'mon along with older generations to be found in the wild. Game play is similar to the previous games.

It is a awesome game, I was starting to not buy the Pokemon game because the Pokemon were looking stupider and stupider but this batch of Pokemon are powerful and cool

I like Pokemon since a little child. Pikachu is so adorable and appealing. What's more, this version is even more funny and mysterious. I like the training system and amie system. I can have more communication with my Pokemon, as if I'm talking to them directly.

Pokemon X/Y follows in the same great path as the older Pokemon games. Lots of new Pokemon and 3D looks good.

My son plays this game. Absolutely loves it. Would recommend if you like Pokemon

Nintendo has always made great games, and now that they have made such an entertaining and awesome hand-held in the 3DS, the joy and nostalgic feeling of this series is amplified and compounded with new capabilities of such a wonderful handheld.

This is another great game for anyone that like to play Pokemon
