I have been a Pokemon fan since day one, and this one is one of the best.

I've recently been swept up in the PokemonGO craze and it's been a new experience for me, as I never played the original Pokemon games on GameBoy, so I decided to fully dive into a real Pokemon game. Pokemon X/Y doesn't disappoint and is well worth picking up for your 3DS. There is a narrative to follow, Pokemon that are familiar to fans of the series. as well brand new types, and excellent multiplayer options to keep you coming back. I highly recommend playing with a friend / significant other and engage in trade and battle with them to power up your Pokemon. As a first time Pokemon hunter, I'm having a great time catching up on years of a series that I had completely ignored. Pokemon X/Y has certainly made it easy for me to get up to speed!

I've been playing Pokemon since I was 14 when the original Red/Blue came out. 15 years later, the game is still going stronger than even, and this newest installment X & Y improves on the established formula without losing from what makes Pokemon great. Trading is easier than ever, as simple as just clicking a button on the bottom screen the 3DS, same with seeing friends online, battling, trading with friends, accessing the Global Trading system-- all the systems that have been in place for years, but they took out everything annoying about the process and made it as easy as possible to interact with other people. For those seeking more challenging, this newest pokemon game makes the EV/IV system more transparent. It's not easier to execute, just easier to understand. Overall, awesome game and a great addition.
