Pokemon code lets you pick the game you want. You can choose between red, yellow and blue

I liked it. Very very good goods game worth a whole bunch of monies

I have played Pokemon Red but never Yellow. There are major differences between the first 3 Pokemon games such as exclusivity Pokemon, in Yellow you can't choose any of the 3 starters, you get Pikachu as a starter, basically following the Pokemon anime somewhat but hey, you're able to get all 3 starters in the game from either trainers or events. If you want certain exclusive Pokemon pick Red or Blue but if you're fine and just want it for a good ol' nostalgia then get this.

Loved this game as a kid and still love this game as an adult. It brings back great memories as a kid when everyone had a game boy and game boy color played this game. If you want to relive your nostalgia definitely get this game, blue version or red version, which ever you prefer.

Getting to play this on my 3ds was amazing. It made playing at night so much better due to the backlight screen and the game is still fun to pick up every once in a while.

My daughter is a huge fan of all the Pokémon games and characters. She bought this with her Christmas money and downloaded it as soon as we got home. Very easy process no issues with the download.

This was my first Pokémon game as a kid and I think it still holds up pretty good was a lot of fun revisiting this game.

Had the original on Gameboy and it's just as cute as I remember! All the nostalgia of the original but all the convenience of being on a 3DS.

It's been almost 20 years since I first played a Pokémon game as a youngster, and now that they're on Virtual Console I can enjoy the original trio again. The Best Buy deal was fantastic too.

This was one of my favorite games back on the gameboy! Glad we have access to it again. :)

Love that Nintendo did this. Maybe they’ll do this with the future Nintendo ds releases.

great way to start your pokemon journey! Got the code quick

I remember playing Pokemon Yellow Version when it first came out when I was about 8 or 9 years old. It's been fun replaying it. now on my 3DS.

They email you a code quickly. You download the game with the code and start playing. Game is a classic. Really fun

Pokemon Yellow ported to the 3DS exactly the same as it used to be except Jynx has been recolored.

Simple instructions made it easy to download game with code given, does not take up massive memory data on DS system, classic game for cheap. Recommended if you have not played and are curious or want a low priced pokemon fix. 5 Star grade
