This brings back memories when I was a teenager playing this in the gba era. Great revamp of graphics and story is awesome with the new addition of delta episode in post game play.

The game is good if you're new and want to get into Pokemon. However, as someone who played the original Sapphire, while it is a great remake and definitely nostalgic, I found the plot and game itself somewhat boring. I enjoyed rediscovering Hoenn again but there is something missing and different than when I first played years ago.

I bought this game for my nephew as a birthday present. I was a little worried that it wouldn't get there on time, because I'd gotten tied up in work, but the game arrived at his house on his birthday with no problem. He loves it, and I'm happy that I could celebrate with him on his birthday, even though I'm so far away.

This game is based off of the game boy advanced game pokemon sapphire. The main story is essentially the same. The graphics have been updated greatly and are rich an fulfilling to look at. There are also now visual cut-scenes throughout the game that add to the story. After playing through this game it appears there are new moves and pokemon types so the combat system has slightly more depth than before. There are additional features and pokemon that were not originally included in the game boy advanced game. It's been an enjoyable experience and playthough. Gotta catch em all!

Great game that combines old and new Pokemon to capture. Has an extra story line combined with extra features to capture other legendary pokemon!

There are so many great new features in the new games, including really cool and power mega evolutions. As always, a blast to play for a long time.

I loved the older version of this game, and they did an amazing job redoing it. They added fun new features, and of course it has sweet 3d!

Can't believe Pokemon has been around 20 years and it's still this good. I picked this up for my son who recently got into the whole Pokemon phenomenon and I have to admit we had so much fun playing together I picked myself up a copy later as well. I used to play a long time ago when it first came out but reliving my youth with my son is so much fun. The gameplay is cool and this year with all the giveaways for the 20th anniversary I have a feeling we are going to be playing for quite some time.

They enjoy playing it and I am happy it is one that I don't have to worry about as far as violence goes. This was a hassle to get a hold of around the holiday season as I ordered it online black Friday and was to pick up in stores. It ended up out of stock and shipped so I just barely got this a few days ago. Considering the average price I have seen this go was always close to $50 or $60, I jumped on the great sale price it was on and am very happy I had!

I got this game to play Pokemon with my girlfriend! We both love playing it together. Easily the best remake in the series.

It's Pokemon Sapphire with updated visuals, gameplay mechanics and story. Compatible with all generations of Pokemon.

this one is my favorite Pokemon game the new graphics are a plus and the mega evolutions are really cool

I've been a fan of the Pokemon series since the original Red/Blue games, but lost interest around the time the original Ruby/Sapphire games came out. So to finally be able to play these games is really a treat, especially after the redesign that X and Y brought. It's a fresh approach to classic games. Personally I don't use the actual 3D function because the graphics are good enough and pop without that effect - a great game overall.

If you love Pokemon, you will love this game. It is a lot of fun, and there is loads of content.

The overall updated graphics and added mechanics that carry over from Pokemon X/Y make this an enjoyable nostalgic trip through Hoenn once again. They did leave out the Battle Frontier, which is a big minus.

having a pokemon game is always good and fun! the story line is also great!

The original Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire was possibly the weakest game in the series, but this remake actually makes it good. The additional features from Pokemon X and Y really make Ruby and Sapphire worth playing

I told myself if they ever remade these games like they did Heartgold and Soulsilver I'd grab them up. They did an amazing job remaking these! Brought back a whole bunch of memories, I loved these way back in the early 2000's and I still love em today. They found a way to make these games even better than the originals! If you're on the fence about grabbing it up get it!

This is my third copy. One for me and one for each of my kids. Best pokemon so far.

I think that the game is great and will satisfy anyone who already loves pokemon. My problems are that the world map is not completely accurate. There is a part where it looked like a path went through but it didn't. Also the route maps aren't accurate and I don't know why they included them if they aren't going to make them right. The global aspects (like trading with other people or battling them) are cool but could have been thought out a little bit better. There are a few things I would have liked, like being able to leave a trade or a battle even though the other person hasn't left. You can be stuck sitting there, waiting for them to quit also. Other than that, I love the graphics and everything else.
