my son loves it. he loves pokemon and has every game

Definitely a must have. I've been playing around with wounder trades and catching legendary pokemon for months and the game still hasn't gotten old. ORAS games have come a long way since the original red and blue. They did take out custome outfits from XY but the extra hunt for legandaries makes up for it. Great game!

Alpha Sapphire is a great remake that looks phenomenal on 3DS and is an enjoyable trip down memory lane for any Pokemon fan. If you're familiar with the series, you know what to expect here.

This is the same thing with Omega Ruby I bought as well. If you liked X or Y Pokemon then you'll definitely like this one. Big fan of the originals Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver and finally feeling that desire to want to play Pokemon with these games again :) Thank you nintendo for bringing the magic back on the 3DS

Pokemon Sapphire was my first GBA game, so I was pretty excited to get a polished remake for the 3DS. While enjoyable, X/Y felt a bit empty to me, but this game has the same feel as the original with added cutscenes and improved graphics. All in all a faithful remake done right.

I never had the Sapphire version on the advance. This time I knew to get this with Omega Ruby. I had fond memories of these games back on the SP. The new graphics are just great. I'm also enjoying some of the new stuff. Can't wait to beat this game and catch them all!

I bought this for my girlfriend who is new to the whole pokemon thing (better late than never). It took her about five minutes of play time before she was hooked. The pokemon formula is as strong as ever and this remake of the 2003 original is a great start for players new to the series.

This is a good remake of an entry into the series that updates for modern features (the biggest one being physical/special split)

A game from my childhood brought back in 3D. It's exactly how I remember it, but it sadly lacks the Battle Frontier from Emerald.

bought this game as a gift for my nephew. he loves pokemon. i check everywhere for this game but the price was very high. i walked into a best buy and saw the game and used my rewards coupon. my nephew loves this game. the graphics are better and the gameplay is longer.

This is the newest game in the Pokémon series; it includes lots of Pokemon from older generations as well as new features and multiple regions to explore. It has features from the original ruby and sapphire games like the secret bases but updated. Fun as usual and would recommend for any Pokemon fan

I remember playing the older sapphire game as a kid. It was one of my favorites because people could design their own places or forts and battle friends through that. I also remember a lot of the pokemon from that region more than the others. Great memories!

This is a fantastic remake of a classic Pokemon game. Do yourself and pick this game up. Both Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are amazing. The games are pretty similar, just a couple different exclusive pokemon and you battle against team aqua or team flame.

Hoenn region is entertaining just like it was back in Generation 3. Now it has returned with all new graphics and updated features. Unfortunately, the Battle Frontier hasn't been included, which was possibly one of the best features of Emerald version so it hasn't really improved upon X or Y version.

I'm a giant fan of the Pokemon games, so when the new ones came out, I had to get them. It's a great game with a plot similar to the originals (Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald), but with better graphics, more pokemon to catch, and better trading options.

While I'm disappointed about the lack of character customization in the re-release of Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald, I understand that they want to make each region of the Pokemon universe known for it's own signature motif. In Kalos it was fashion, as per a stereotypical French visionary experience, there were many beautiful vistas, as well as cafes and french culture. In the Hoenn region the big deal was the secret bases and the isolationism of culture. While I miss the character customization of X/Y, I enjoyed my time with Alpha Sapphire, and the ability to catch many Pokemon, including legendaries, that were unavailable in X/Y at the time was a very nice addition. The game feels much more like the original games for those of us that are older and experienced Pokemon in our youth. I highly recommend one of the two versions if you are a fan of Pokemon.

It's pretty much the exact story as Pokémon Sapphire, with a few added extras and better graphics. Sapphire is my favorite out of the bunch, and it has my favorite region and generarion of Pokémon, and I'm glad that the hype for it is back.

This game is as good as the original Ruby and Sapphire games were bad, which is to say this game is great. The story is as cheesy and vapid as any Pokemon game, but I didn't expect storyline going in and I can't imagine most others expect it either.

This is an excellent remake/improvement of the original Sapphire Version. The addition of all the improvements made in X and Y to Sapphire has made it even more enjoyable than the original. Plus, exploring Hoenn in 3d-modeled form is awesome.
