I never played the generation of Pokemon these games are a remake of but it's still a fun game. I have only played Platinum to compare it to and it's sticks with the usual Pokemon formula, which is ok by me. Easy to pick up and play for a few minutes due to being on the 3ds - I picked it out to take on an upcoming trip and I think it was a good choice.

This is a great remake of the classic game and a worthy follow-up to X & Y. I am a little disappointed in the removal of the character customization, but the rest of the game is remarkable.

If you know pokemon, then you know the formula. Get this if you want some nostalgia from your childhood, playing through one more time and enjoy the surprises they toss at you.

Great game, but its too easy of a game. In the 1st generation you had train each Pokemon and spend time battling. In the new one, you get the experience share 10-15mins in the game.

My niece loves Pokemon and she was super excited for Alpha Sapphire. If you've played any mainline Pokemon before, this is more of the same and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The game is great if you enjoyed Ruby and Sapphire or you liked the newer X and Y games. They pretty much use the same updated graphics and speed up the game so you can really enjoy the game on-the-go. It's still formulaic and it's the same pokemon game we have been for decades now, cept it's prettier and training them has become faster.

This was the Pokemon game of my childhood. It’s so wonderful to see it updated with today’s graphics. It’s classic Pokemon who could ask for anything else

I haven't played the game myself, but it must be pretty good when it was the top must have game on our son's christmas list. It was the first game he put in his DS on Christmas.

I’ve played every single Pokémon game and this is easily one of the best ones I’ve ever played. I hated ruby/sapphire but the remake is really well done.

Maybe it's just the nostalgia, as I started playing Pokemon with the original Ruby, but I loved Omega Ruby so much I bought Alpha Sapphire to tide me over for the new games. I feel like this is a very definitive Pokemon game, with many "convenient" features that make the overall gameplay more satisfying and fun. I really liked Soul Silver but I think ORAS might just be the best games in the series.

Being a remake I was skeptical at first but this game exceeded expectations in every way. Just when I thought I might be done I'd get sucked right back in. Must own for sure.

I got this for my son to add to his Pokemon collection. Got a very good deal out of it and didn't think twice. It's a must buy for Pokemon avid fans.

Hours of fun for my son. This was the last Pokemon 3ds game he needed and he absolutely loves it. Super fast shipping too. Came almost a week early

I had the original sapphire game when I was in elementary school. Playing this game now brought on great nostalgia while enjoying the enhancements the 3DS had to offer.

If you like the original games like ruby and sapphire, then this is pretty much updated version. It's like pokemon stadium battle scenes which is pretty cool.

I thought it was good as Pokemon Sapphire back then, and got me up to over 100 hours from the first play not compared to how much I played the GBA version however.

This is a really great game. It is beautifully remade, and looks amazing on the 3ds. It''s great for first timers and those who want to relive their childhood.

Will bring back that great nostalgia of the original games, but of course the improvement of game mechanics brings out a whole new experience into a classic.

Picked up the sapphire version since the ruby was out of stock. Either way, still just as I rememeber growing up. Love the Pokemon. Always a pleasure playing.

How can you not be a fan of Pokemon. The entire series is fun and engaging. This version is no different. The graphics are great and the game play is fun.
