    There were some really good scenes in this movie but not nearly what I was expecting. My kids loved it though so I guess that’s all that matters.

    Ryan Reynolds is awesome as pikachu. The story is there. 4 stars for nostalgia. Alot of gen 1 pokemon but still alot that weren't familiar to me

    Visually it's very appealing but I feel it needed someone like Danny DeVito doing pikachu, Ryan Reynolds comes off as the wrong kind of annoying.

    Had some great one liners. Ryan Reynolds is perfect for the role, but parts of the plot are a bit flimsy for adults, but hold up for the kids.
