This film is perfect for child and adult Pokemon fans alike. It's a beautiful film as well and each Pokemon display has been lovingly and believably rendered in this new 3D format. I dig it and knew I'd own the blu-ray once it finally released. Fun, comedy, and nostalgia await and I promise you won't be disappointed. :)

Another steel book for the library. Was a cute movie, but seems to me to be missing it in the comedy. Am used to expecting more fun with Ryan Reynolds in the movie, But I guess with him playing against a character who was a minor and being a Pokémon Pikachu seems to have limited what could have been tons of laughs.

If you grew up in the 2010's and know all the characters from the cartoons on TV this is the movie for you. It has several characters that will make you laugh and remember when you know their special power. This is the Wayne's World for Gen Z. The references are very age specific and bring smiles to the young.

As a movie, it’s cute and fun. The plot line is engaging and has unfolding twists. The acting is ok, a little flat in character development. That being said, it is a fun movie if you are a Pokémon lover. Pokémon came around when my kids were little. I enjoyed seeing all the Pokémon as “real“ portrails. Nowadays, I am careful about buying just any movie. I rented this one first online, and, enjoying it, made the purchase.

This pokemon movie is not like the cartoon. It actually has a neat mystery to it and it's not a movie about pokemon battles or what not, its about solving a mystery. I really liked it after seeing with my kids, but will admit I thought it was going to be goofy like the cartoons but was pleasantly surprised!

I was excited when I heard about a live action Pokemon movie. I have been playing Pokemon since the 90s. I was also worried about the movie, because we all know how video game/Anime live action movies turn out. However, they figured it out with this one. Very well done and also a good story to boot.

I wish it had better special features the movie is great fun for kids fun for adults some of the features where it goes back and shows you what specific Pokemon are is great for some of us Pokemon there's that didn't quite recognize some of our original favorites great way to pass it on to new generations

This is a very good movie with pokemon live in action. The story line is a bit slow in the middle which is typical for this kind of movie. The performance of main characters are well executed. The ending is a surprise so makes you want to watch it again for recapture clues you might have missed before.

I enjoyed the movie, especially the fact that I grew up as a Pokémon fan seeing so many of them coming to life on the big screen and my kids love the movie too. The Steel book case is also a nice plus originally I wasn't going to get it but I ended up liking the art on it better than the original cover.

Pika pi pikachu, pika pika. Pikachu, pika chu. Great take on a classic line, made me wish pokemon was real all over again. Not to mention Ryan Reynolds. I was nervous to see this movie in theaters but had to knowing he voiced Pikachu. Ended up loving it and had to buy it to watch it again and again.

My grandson wanted me to buy this movie as soon as it was released. At Best Buy, new releases are always highlighted in the front of the store making it easy to find and purchase. I bought it of the very first day that it went on sale and both my grandchildren (and grampy too) thoroughly enjoyed it.

This movie surprised me a few times. Its both more and less intelligent than I thought it would be. Overall its funny, heartfelt, and a definite win for any pokemon fan. A- movie, B- 3d, B overall. The only things thats remotely 3D is the bulbasaur snout about halfway in. Nothing else comes close, which was a little disheartening seeing as how this movie is as good a candidate (if not more) for the format!

I know there’s people that say this movie isn’t that good but honestly I think this is a great movie. You definitely should give it a try. I’ve been a Pokémon fan since I got my first gameboy color so when I heard about this movie I was so excited. So take it from me, THIS MOVIE IS WORTH WATCHING.

I grew up with the first generation of Pokemon and have been hooked ever since! I recommend you buy the Bluray copy or 4k copy of this movie because the colors just pop! Bluray and 4k allows for an extra crisp picture! Especially if you own a 4k HD TV and enjoy watching movies, like myself.

I saw the movie in theaters, I loved it and than I decided to purchase it and I'm glad to have made this purchase the disc is packed with loads of extra content. If you enjoy a live action Pokemon movie and the voice of deadpool you will probably want to acquire this film to add your collection.

I saw this movie in theaters and loved it. Even though the plot twist was very easy to predict from the start I still enjoyed my time watching it. The steelbook is a cool collectible if you enjoyed the movie, it also comes with a promo pokemon card that I did not know it had until opening it.

Ok, its been a while since I have seen anything with Pikachu or any Pokemon, and my kids/grand-kids were really waiting for this one, and it didn't disappoint, it was FUN and had a great story line with rather weird characters but that helped make this a fun movie to watch, enjoy, i sure did...

Great storyline, although there are many plot-holes, though. For example, if the soul of Ryan Reynolds went to Pikachu, where was his body all along? Also, is brain essence the same as soul??? But the most controversial one is how people online reacted to the producers’ decision to make Pikachu furry. A lot of Pokémon fans have been expecting him to be smooth-skinned rather than covered in body hair.

Was shipped out quickly and arrived the next weekday. The movie is fun for all ages, but older Pokemon fans will probably enjoy Ryan Reynolds' version of Pikachu more. It's not everyday that you get to hear a yellow electric mouse yell, "They seem to be attracted to your increasing nudeness."

It’s a great film for any fan of the Pokémon franchise. If your looking to pick up the 4K visuals and audio, you could probably save a few a dollars and grab the blu Ray. The film has a filter over it that reduces the sharp image most 4K provide. Understandable since it’s meant to keep the creatures from looking funny and more realistic. If you just want to get the 4K for the sake of 4K go ahead.
