A Fun Remake
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a remake of Pokémon Yellow, where you start with either Eevee or Pikachu depending on which version you buy. The motion controls can be frustrating, but overall it is a great remake and is fun to play. Great nostalgia for those who played the original. If you haven't, this is the version to play.

Fun game to get started
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a nostalgic throwback to the classic Pokemon red/blue games. The gameplay has changed drastically overall, but it still manages to keep many of the same elements that made the original so fun. The only issue o had was that the accessory looked too much like a tennis ball and my dog chewed it up.

Fun casual pokemon game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun casual game, not too involved. Fun remake of yellow. Eevee is cuter than Pikachu, in my opinion. Pokeball is cool.

A remake of a classic with a twist
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Based on Pokémon yellow this remake incorporates elements of the mobile game Pokémon Go. With the accompanying poke ball plus which provides the mythical Pokémon mew. Overall it initially presents as Pokémon lite but there is depth for players look for it in the form of master trainers and other content.

A new way to play a nostalgic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokemon Let's Go initially seemed like a gimmicky and recycled version of the original Red and Blue. However Nintendo has changed the way they view the game. This game provides a new outlook by making catching Pokemon fun. I use to love Pokemon because of the battles, now I just want to catch them all!

Pokemon on the Big Screen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying this adaptation of the earlier games to the switch. It has been a lot of fun playing with the kids and the Pokeball controller is actually a lot of fun both with the game and with Pokemon Go on the phone. Great for anyone that is a fan of the series or enjoys collecting type games.

Great for all ages
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokemon Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu are a wonderful blend of the original games and the Pokemon Go app. It gives you the joy of going through Kanto once more without having to grind through battles over and over. Battles are replaced with pokeball capturing which much quicker and more fun.

Pokémon Yellow (but with Eevee)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is amazing. If you have played Pokémon Yellow before you know the basics of this game, but this time it’s playable portably and on the big screen. The Pokémon go mechanics replacing wild encounters is a little weird at first, but trainer battles feel the same. 10/10 would recommend

Great first pokemon for the Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great first console Pokemon game. It’s not exactly a true Pokemon game because it lacks the standard battle system but anyone who has enjoyed PokemonGo will love this game. If you’re looking for a great Switch game, you can certainly add this to the growing list of really good games.

A fun trip down memory lane
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally, Game Freak had no other choice but to begrudgingly give us a 3D Pokémon mainline game on an HD console. If you played the first gen games, this is a fun trip down memory lane with a couple of ideas sprinkled in to feel new enough. Super recommend.

Game is a lot more fun than expected.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much more fun than Sun/Moon which I thought was garbage. There's a lot more trainers to compensate "no wild battles". Who really needed wild battles though? If you're grinding in Pokemon you're just making it easier? You get Exp for catching Pokemon, in a sense it makes more sense, that this was the proper way to catch Pokemon. Why would a Pokemon want you to beat it into submission and after being caught expected to fight for you lol. Farming shiny Pokemon is considerably easier I'm talking 1/300 chance by a simple method(Check YouTube). However Pokemon can flee from you like safari zone, so be careful. There is competitive side to it via, farming specific candies to make your Pokemon even stronger(EV Training) for people that want it. I don't recommend giving your Pokemon candy early in the game because this EV training on STEROIDS. 200 to ALL stats. Give the game a chance unless you really don't like the motion controls stay clear away. You can't use your pro controller with this game.

Tons of Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was really geat for introducing my nieces to the pokemon series, as the originals were my first game, the remakes for them is theirs. I had a really good time teaching them and walking them through my experience, and i'm really thankful I got to share that with them.

Kids love it, plus co-op
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That's right. Two people can control characters to play the pokemon outing. The pokeball is extravagant but does include a bonus pokemon to use in game. Love it. A bit easier than the gameboy and 3ds versions. Any child that can read could make it to the ending. A true joy to play.

Awesome Game!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best game out for the switch right now. Reminds me of the games from the gameboy versions but better and more improved. Great collaboration with PokemonGO and this game will allow me transfer my pokemons from my mobile device to the switch. Definitely a must get for all Pokemon fans.

FANTASTIC!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is literally the old red/blue version of the game made for the modern era. Updated graphics and the new battle and leveling system is pretty neat. Its nostalgic enough for everyone that has been playing since the beginning and new enough to engage all the new Pokemon GO players.

New to Pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't grow up playing pokemon, so keep that in mind, but both my children and I have enjoyed playing this game more than I thought we would would. Really good entry into the series. I've actually bought a couple of the older games now to go back and experience them.

Pokeball Plus not necessary
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this game! The game itself is so much fun, but I wish the pokeball did more. It's not a full controller (it has less buttons than a normal Joy Con), and the menus only have the button prompts for a regular controller, even if you tell the game you're using the pokeball. Hopefully they'll fix that in an update, but I'd like it better if the pokeball at least could function as an extra, albeit spherical, Joy Con, but the buttons just aren't there.

A perfect intro to the Pokemon series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a longtime pokemon fan, I thought that the 'dumbed-down' mechanics of this remake would make the adventure much less enjoyable. But instead I found that the new changes serve to streamline the more tedious parts of the journey, and are a welcome addition to the formula.
