This is a great game but your child needs to be able to read to play it. Once battles start the action is great. My seven year old enjoys this a lot.

This version of Pokemon is better as you go about on adventure and scavenger hunts instead of going to gyms. Different take and made it more interesting.

So I've played all the pokemon games and I can say this is the best pokemon game. Great story, characters, and design. Overall great game and great buy.

This feels like a significant improvement over the last two Pokemon releases. The graphics are much improved, and the gameplay is as enjoyable as ever.

It's a great pokemon game. However, they changed out the gym system and made it go through a series of trials. It's been great, I love the sense of involvement that has grown in trials as well as story. Gyms no longer being a simple crossing point. There is some other changes. One is, wild pokemon can call for help, which can make eliminating them a bit hard, but, always makes it easier to catch lv 7 Salamences, shinies, and hidden abilities. There a whole lot of new features! And ride pokemon, removes hms from the game. All in all, a great game to play!

The new creatures does not shine, and the 3DS starts to show some limitations, Sun and Moon can be seen as the ultimate experience for any Pokémon fan

I really enjoy the game, it is really friendly to someone that hasn't played Pokémon. I haven't played since emerald and I can say I got hooked again.

Picked up a copy for my twin (and myself- moon), and neither of us have been able to put it down. Very well made game with few complaints to be made.

havent bought a pokemon game since the early 2000. this one brought back memories. i like how they included a lot of the original pokemon in the game

Coming from Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow Era, I'm loving this game totally different from previous games. Love the Alola Form Pokemon (Vulpix/Ninetales)

The latest versions in the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Sun/Moon, offers the same mechanics and gameplay that we all have come to learn and love, while introducing a slight modern twist. I think Pokemon Sun/Moon are very kid-friendly as compared to any previous games in the franchise.

Lots of reading and can be time consuming taking care of the Pokemon but overall a great game. Very addictive and fun to play for kids and adults!

I bought Moon so naturally my gf had to have Sun! She really enjoys the game and we love battling each other everyday. I haven't beat her yet lol!

I'm new to the series, but this is my favorite Pokémon game so far. Enough classic throwbacks, but new gameplay and interactions. Great game.

The game's really fun, a real departure from the series in a lot of ways, but still has the coreplay Pokemon is known for. I highly recommend it.
