I grew up as a kid in the late 90's/early 00's and remember the Pokémon craze as it happened. I grew older and left the hobby but now that I'm a bit older, the recent Detective Pikachu movie peaked my interest and I purchased this Sun & Moon Unbroken Bonds box to try and get back into collecting the cards.
This box will catch you back up to speed on changes to the game with a really well made color booklet about all the cards you can get from this series, the new moves they have, and the rarity of all the cards.
You get dice, a coin, a stack of energy cards, and you get enough booster packs to completely form a playable deck if you wanted to play against other players.
Dollar for dollar this box is a great way to buy a bunch of packs all at once. I was pretty lucky and pulled a 'Secret Rare' tier card 'Persian GX' which is holographic and I was excited to get that from a booster pack.
Whether you're new to collecting, getting back into it, or just want to collect further with the sun & moon sets, this is an awesome deal.
With this set they also introduce tag-team cards where you can have two pokemon featured on one card with a combination of their moves on the same card, pretty cool.
Keep an eye out for Charzard cards, if you get a rainbow colored Charizard card they're pretty valuable!
