Good for beginners trying to learn how to play the game

This was gifted to me. Im more into collecting the packs with random cards inside for the fun. I can say that this is a very good box set for any person attempting to learn and play the Pokemon came. All cards are preset and the same for every set.

Best Buy had the Battle Academy game which I gifted to my grandkids. It taught the kids and the adults as well, how play the Real Pokemon Battle Games! We Love it!

Contains three decks, none of which have type advantages over the others, 2 of which are set up to allow for immediate play straight out of the box. The rule books guide you through the first couple of turns before setting you free. The third deck is there to allow you to switch things up. No abilities on any of the pokemon and no pokemon tools. Also no burned or poisoned status tokens or cards that cause statuses. Definitely meant for people just starting out in TCG. If you're looking for great or powerful cards for your existing collection or decks, I would recommend looking elsewhere

I'm a Mother of a son who is new to the Pokemon interest. I bought this as a Christmas Gift for him. I was more than surprised what all it comes with. Excited it came with 4 packs of Cards, which means I didn't have to shop extra to play the Game itself. So that is almost a triple Bonus. Highly recommend if you are a beginner like us or you just want a Pokemon related Item!

This makes it incredibly easy to learn the Pokémon trading card game! By providing premade decks and an easy to use playing mat, it makes the game simple to learn. The game is really fun and it opens the door for creating your own decks and more complex strategies.

got my 5 and 8 year olds (and myself) starting in pokemon card game with this box set. Really fun. After a few plays with the preset simple decks, we mixed the three decks to make two more custom ones. So there's a good amount to work with to learn the game and swapping in and out cards to a playing deck

Came on time and in good condition. The game is fun and a fantastic way for new players to learn how to battle with decks. It gives you several prebuilt options and a layout, so you can use your own if you want. I highly recommend.
