I’m beyond disappointed with Best Buy right now. I’m a My Best Buy Total member, which costs $200 a year, and honestly it feels like a complete waste of money. I won a Pokémon product drop, and not only did my order never arrive, but Best Buy refunded me automatically without even bothering to contact me or explain what went wrong.
Anyone who actually tries to buy Pokémon knows how rare it is to find product at retail. This wasn’t even supposed to be for me — it was a gift — and Best Buy completely dropped the ball. The tracking showed my box shipped, then suddenly it was “not able to be found.” That sounds a lot like it was lost or stolen, and the fact that no one cares enough to follow up is ridiculous.
The worst part is customer service. You can’t call a store directly, you get bounced around between automated systems, and nobody takes ownership of anything. For a company this big, with a paid membership program, this is hands down some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced.
If this is what $200 a year gets you, I’ll seriously reconsider ever ordering from Best Buy again.
