What a waste of time … “in store only” goes to the store … manager “ you have to buy online” …. Starting to get real annoyed wasting so mych time and gas going store to store to be told they dont have anything in stock

Please check your information before you go bashing the company!! You all love to bash because you think you heard this and heard that but no one has concrete information. Check your facts please!!!! The employees were told they could not purchase anything. If some did they did but stop blaming the company for a few bad apples. Jump on the other people who purchased a bunch and didnt leave anything for the rest of us. I am so tired of seeing people whine and complain because fellow collectors hoarded the new releases. Yes employees bought some, yes people bought more then they should have but it is what it is. Stop complaining, suck it up and either wait for the restock or dont. But stop blaming everyone else. It is what it is.

I bought 1 had no good pulls but my brother did get one to and he pulled the full art Eevee.

Went in as soon as they opened, said they had several in stock in this store only. As soon as i went in to get one i seen they were out. An employee said that another employee purchased all they had left before they opened as well as had a couple on hold for them to purchase. This isnt the first time on telease day this has happened.

Waited in line on release date morning with a bunch of others, one very nice employee came out before opening and said they wont have any until tuesday. I came back today (tuesday) and waited first in line until the store opened and different employees told me they didnt have any???? I wonder if the employees at the Santa Clarita location took everything for themselves as other reviews are saying.

Its not a bad review but it’s to the negative comments on a street release item. It has a date to be released which is February 7, 2025. These workers do not control the fact that if it gets put on display or if it says available and their inventory updates to let them know that they have it and others know that they have it so it’s not their fault that you can’t purchase it. It’s systems. Not theirs. They can’t control it and they cannot override it so if you’re upset about it, oh well, be upset. You as a collector should know best buy has policy and goes by itb

Not sure how the website only allows to purchase in store and not buy online. And when it came to going to the store they are sold out before opening? More like the employees are taking it for themselves

Said was available in store today only for them to say it doesnt drop officially until 2/7/25 and to check online around midnight because itll be better that way smh guess what checked at midnught still no option to purchase the cards.

They do not post availability online, and nobody at the store will ever answer the phone. If you drive to the store and ask if they have any, nobody has a clue. Would not recommend trying to buy any from Best Buy.

Negative reviews from people crying from FOMO and scalpers that can't get stock to rip people off with. Hilarious.

Went on Thursday since the site said it was available, then in stores they can't sell it till Friday. That's fine, I can wait. Went today, and it's sold out because someone placed an online order pick-up. HOW? The site clearly says in-store only. Best Buy, don't put false information on your site if you aren't going to follow it.

Asked a few bestbuy emplyees how many prismatic ETB’s they recieved because i showed up 30 seconds after thebfestock. One employee says they received 2 units, another says they receievd 7, and a third employee says they didnt receieve any. Thats how you know these arent hitting shelves. From distributor to employee. Sad day.

Everyone leaving negative reviews about it showing in stock day before is wild for disregarding it said street date 2/7/25. Therefore everyone complaining “best buy do better” literally just cant read a full product page and got mad. Pretty crazy. Crazy how humans can purposly chose to not look and then compain lol

What's the point of doing a line/queue system to help combat the bots byt then go ahead and release stock while humans are asleep.. did you forget that bits never sleep? Waste of everyone's time who are actually trying to get something retail price. Thanks for continuously letting scalpers and flipper dippers win..

Says available in store but when you get there nothing is available.

I actually added this to my cart at 1 a.m. Re enetered all my sign in information gave them the verification code they sent and waited for over an hour on a virtual line checking inventory for absolutely nothing. I never clicked off the page like it said. My screen just went dark. Absolute Crazines.

It said it was in stock but it wasnt. What a waste of time.

Our store had like 10 tins total, got there 30 minutes early and was the 10th in line. Thank goodness for limit of 1 which i give credit to best buy for doing.. however what a disastrous launch

Best Buy is becoming a joke. In my area I checked in with two Best Buys closest to me about when they would be getting this product. I was told that they would be receiving it Friday morning, TODAY 2/14/25. I checked the app at 8:00 a.m. this morning and this item was In Stock at both locations as they stated. I later checked again at 8:30 a.m. and it said few in stock for BOTH locations even though the stores are not even open yet. I then checked again at 9:00 a.m. and this item was out of stock in BOTH locations. How is that possible when Best Buy opens at 10:00 a.m.??? Shady business practices are possibly occurring behind the scenes where employees are buying this product before it even hits shelves. This is ABSURD. Best Buy needs to do something about this.

Was in line to purchase the mini tins and the first person in line was allowed to purchase all of them. The register wasnt allowing more than 2 at a time at first and after the cashier went to converse with one of her coworkers in the back then allowing for the one person to buy all of the tins i guess bypassing the errors she was getting when trying to scan more than 2. All she did was laugh when i asked if there was a limit.
