I like how it is interactive. I like how you can have NPC's travel with you. I didn't like the art style in the beginning. And the smallish characters. I did not like the button selection, not enough pop or pizzazz.

Bought this during sale, I am not big a big Pokemon fan. For me this is just a simple RPG game, not so exciting. I am not sure if I will spend too many times on it.

Let me start off by saying I'm not a Pokemon fanatic. So, with that, this was an ok game. Maybe better for the tweens ages.

Just an ok game, I did not enjoy as much as the last several games and the newest game is far better.

The game was fine. Not for me so no expectations. My problem is with the next purchase I tried to make but didn't. I went to Best Buy to get the Lego movie with my $25 rewards certificate. I was not allowed to use it for an amount less than $25 and retain the difference. In fact, I was told I couldn't even just use it and give up the difference. Besides the fact that you're a technology store and ought to be able to figure out how to let me keep the difference, it's just bad customer service to not have either option. As I refused to be digitally strong-armed into spending more than I wanted to, I didn't buy anything. I went to customer service with my complaint, which fell on deaf ears. "well, that's the policy." I will not shop at Best Buy until this is corrected.

    A great Pokemon game

For fans old and new, Pokemon X and Y are the best installments yet. The graphics are lovely and there are enough improvements to the gameplay to make it thoroughly enjoyable. Leveling your Pokemon up is easier than before, and while this does make the game easier than previous installments, it also means you spend far less time running in circles leveling them up, which I think is a fair trade off. EV training is easier than ever with its own minigame to add specific EVs, and breeding as well has been simplified to make it easier to acquire perfect and shiny Pokemon. The story is compelling and actually quite long, and the new Pokemon are interesting and useful. Wonder Trade is loads of fun, even if the payoff is not that great, Mega Evolutions give old favorites new life, and the new Friend Safari is a much needed improvement on the old Safari feature of past games. There are a few problems, though. The 3D effects are only available in 1-on-1 Pokemon battles, and when 3D is on the framerate of the game usually drops noticeably. There isn't much to do after you finish the main story unless you're in to breeding or catching them all, and utilities for transferring Pokemon from previous version (Poke Transporter and Pokemon Bank), while extremely useful, are cumbersome to use (and they don't allow the transfer of items, making it impossible to transfer Mega Stones between games that way). The Mega Evolutions are limited to certain Pokemon, and many of them cannot be acquired until after the Elite Four have been beaten, so they're not really useful unless you play competitively. Additionally, some Mega Stones, which are needed to Mega evolve their respective Pokemon, are only available in one version or the other (and in the Houndoom, who is only available in X, his Mega Stone is only available in Y), and each copy of the game only gets one of each. The StreetPass feature is also almost entirely useless, as all it does is give you Poke Miles based on how far away StreetPassed players are from you; if you mostly only StreetPass people who live in your area, you're only getting 1 PM per StreetPass, which isn't terribly useful. Despite its problems, though, Pokemon X and Y are a solid and enjoyable entry into the franchise, and a must-have for fans of the series, even if you haven't played in several generations.

I have multiple daughters, and this is the second Pokeman X game I've bought. (sure wish there could be multiple game saves for these buggers rather than my having to buy multiple versions of the same game, but then why would they if I will go ahead and buy more than one?) This game has provided hours of fun for my daughters. Yes that is plural. This is my second Pokeman X. With so much to explore and so many new Pokémon to acquire, my second daughter has happily spent hours lost within the world of this game.

    Best Pokémon yet!

As someone who's been playing Pokémon since Red & Blue, this latest game has been my favourite yet. It's incredible to see all your favourite monsters modeled in 3D, the gameplay's been finely tuned, and the online integration is really amazing. My only gripe is that the game only uses stereoscopic 3D in certain places, and that the framerate can really take a nosedive during battles with the 3D on - better to just leave it off and enjoy. Absolutely recommended for Pokémaniacs and newcomers alike!
