Great for workouts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what its supposed to do. At first I had a tough time adjusting to the device. The way it wrapped around your chest is not normal with any other device. However after the first or second workout I no longer feel its there. Another thing to remember is don't be afraid to put water on it before putting it on as if you put it on dry it might have difficulty reading heart rate.

Nice HR Monitor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something to wear for longer periods of time so I bought this thinking it would be nice to conceal the monitor as opposed to a watch. It worked great and I installed a free Polar Beat App on my iPhone 6 plus to get the readings. However, after a week of wearing it I decided I didn't like the feeling of the chest strap "slipping" down my chest and it seemed like I was adjusting my bra like a woman. So, I returned it and bought the FitBit Charge HR. The product is great and if I was looking for one just for workouts, I would probably still have it.

Adds accuracy to fitness tracking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to pair with my Apple Watch since I do martial arts based HIITs, which means that wrist-based heart rate monitoring is horribly inaccurate. The Polar sensor adds this accuracy to the Apple Watch or your smart phone. I paired it with several apps and works well. I recommend pairing it with the Under Armour Record app as opposed to the Polar app itself. Actually, don't even bother with the Polar app, but the hardware is perfect.

Works perfectly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to pair with your phone while saving battery power this is the way to go. The strap is comfortable and it works great. Make sure to moisten the strap before use for better results. This uses low energy bluetooth so you do not connect it in the settings menu. You have to download the Polar app to connect it with your phone. You can then use it with other apps. I personally use digifit. I have had to delete and repair a couple of times but it's not a big deal. I price matched for a really good deal and would buy again in a heart beat, no pun intended. Absolutely love it. The fact the apps will sync with my food diary and modify the calories I need for the day is awesome. So much easier than a watch based design you have to manually input the results into you other apps/websites. I love modern technology!
