Customers are positive about the Loop Activity Tracker's heart rate and sleep tracking features, finding it easy to use and appreciating its waterproof design. However, customers are negative about the product's short battery life and the challenges some experienced with band sizing and syncing. The app also received mixed reviews, with some users finding it less intuitive than expected. Other features like step tracking and accuracy were generally well-received.

I have hsd this for about a month now and am happy with the product. I did a lot of research, comparing different brands before deciding on this. I liked it for two reasons, first, Polar was a reliabke brand in sports and fitness products. Second, it works with a heart rate monitor.

I am very pleased with the Polar Loop, it does a great job of tracking my activity and has been a motivator to keep me moving during the day. I tried the FitBit and returned as it stopped working.

Love my Polar Loop!

I got the Polar loop because I wanted a fitness bracelet to track my daily calories burned, and that also had the option of tracking heart rate for when I work out. I find there aren't many options out there and have been very happy so far with the Loop. Battery life lasts about 5 days and it syncs easily to my iPhone (unfortunately it doesn't sync to Android phones yet). Also syncing it to the heart rate monitor is very quick and easy. Definitely makes me want to work out more!

Getting my Cardio ON

I mainly needed a heart rate monitor fitness tracking device. Polar loop is perfect WITH the H7 Heart rate monitor chest strap added on. So you really need to have both to get the full experience of cardio and fitness tracking. Within 2 months I have lost nearly 10-15 lbs and improved my cardiovascular fitness/lifestyle too. My cholesterol has lowered and I can only be thankful for a tracker like this that a friend recommended to me.

Band does a consistent job of reporting activity. Not always clear on what the basis of the % complete is, but it's consistent.

I have only been using this product for a few days, but as a Wellness Coach and Trainer I have to say that this is the top of the line in activity monitors. I have always used Polar products for monitoring my HR and that of my clients, but this allows me to see an all day view of where I can achieve my goals. What sets the loop apart from other trackers on the market? I've had two friends, one with a fitbit and the other with a jawbone, who have said that submersing their tracker in water caused it to malfunction...not with the Loop. The durability is great. This tracker is also compatible with the Polar H7 HR strap, which allows for an even more accurate picture of caloric expenditure while you're exercising :)

I love the way it fits my wrist and that i can see my calories burned, steps etc. Whats great is that you don't have to purchase the polar h6 or h7 heart monitor ($75), the heart monitor i bought was made by Sport line (sync HR $58.67) which is also a bluetooth smart device.

I would definitely recommend this activity tracker over all others in the market just for the reason that if you are a truly outdoor enthusiastic you need a waterproof band and this is the only one in the market.

I had the loop for a year now. Got it before they had an app for the android. It was a good system even without the app. Once the app was release it was even better got data on the phone. Ali was well until 1Jan2015 with an update to the app, data stop, showing up on the phone app but was all on the web. Took them a month to resolve this issue. Then was good until 8Jul2015, I new update to the app and again new issues. Now the loop and the app will not sync, then it will sync, then in 24 it stop again. They sent me a new loop but problem still was there. The issue was with the app again, but would not state this was the issue after many call to support. One week later I replaced with the Microsoft Band, to date very happy with the Band.

I purchased my loop November 2013. As of 3 week ago. It no longer recognize my heat rate monitor, and it will not sync/ connect to my computer anymore. It send me inactive alerts doing workout. Tec support can't help me with this matter. At this point it appears that I just waisted approx 175 dollars.

Worthless if you don't exercise with a lot of arm

If your primary exercise activity involves a lack of arm movement like mine which is biking, the loop won't measure any activity no matter how hard you ride. perhaps I should have sized it for my ankle???
You must wear the heart rate monitor everywhere you go to get any accurate level of exertion. other\wise this is a waste of money.

Inaccurate step counter

Polar loop does not count steps accurately. I was at 6 steps; walked from bathroom to bed and it went to 42 steps. While still lying in bed it went to 114 steps. Something is definitely not right. Maybe I'm doing something wrong however, I doubt it's me. That's the only thing I know is inaccurate could be other features as well.

I had the fitbit flex but went through 2 of them so I decided to try the loop, It hasn't tracked any sleep in two weeks, the steps are way off, my Mondays were around 10,000 with the fitbit with the loop its only 3000+ for walking around in grocery stores for 10 hours I know its more than 3000. im returning this and gonna try the Vivosmart.

Uses a clip to close the band that seems like my grand daddy's wrist watch from the 1920s. I found a lot of reviews that talks about all the great things it can do from a functionality point of view. However, after picking it up from Best Buy when I found out that I have to cut the band (literally with scissors) to fit my wrist, I found it to be a really really bad design. I just returned the unit without any delay. Bought me a Garmin Vivo instead. It may not have all the functionality of Polar Loop, but will do the job for me.
