This watch is great for tracking where you run with the GPS feature and the heart rate monitor is very accurate. The Polar Flow computer site works extremely well. Highly recommend it.

I mostly wanted a running GPS watch that was capable of heart rate monitoring. This has multi-sport capability (and most tri-watches are $300+) and can double as a daily activity tracker. Definitely a great value and performs well for running/cycling. As a Polar product, it also has some of the most accurate HR monitoring (strap) which I trust more than the new wrist based HR monitors (which can be wildly inaccurate).

This has a lot of features for the price, and the inclusion of an activity tracker is a big plus.

The best mid-level watch out there in my opinion. Certainly can't hold up to the Polar 800 or Garmin 920, but for under 200 bucks does everything you can ask for.

GPS works great. Finds satellites quickly. Good battery life . Would be better if if the watch counted and displayed steps.

Great for fitness and very cool GPS features.
I was kinda bumped when find out that is not meant to use in pools and just holds off minor splashes and moist but other than that is a great piece for runners.

Polar M400 Watch

This is the third Polar watch that I have used. The earliest watch/heart rate monitor was picked up RF interference from electronic fences. The FT7 was comfortable and the chest band worked well. The FT7 was simple with little software support. The M400 has good activity monitoring, GPS and interfaces to the iPhones via Bluetooth. I am impressed by the comfort of the watch and the Polar software. The price point makes it an excellent value.

I'm surprised by the good performance of the battery. It's pretty easy to set up and sync with Polar Flow.

Pros:
Watch size. I have fairly thin wrists and have worn a Garmin 305 and a Timex run trainer and this watch fits my wrist better. Usability easy but there are things that could be improved (I'll talk about that later). It is easy to start a run and record laps. It also tracks all the data I need like pace, run time, distance & average pace.
I really like that it tracks your sleep. It tells you how much restful sleep you get each night.
Cons:
Backlight doesn't stay on (I probably haven't figured out how to make the light stay on)
It's sometimes takes awhile to sync to the App. The App is a pro it's easy to use.
There's no way to put the number of steps on the "home screen" it only provides a progress bar (Kind of generic). I also would like to use the estimated finish time function but haven't figured out how to use that during a run.

This has been a great addition to my training! Much more accurate than a phone app, works great with a chest HR monitor. Also great for tracking activity, though certainly not geared to that like a Fitbit. Have been wearing this watch 24-7 since I bought it and really do love it.

I've used the Polar watch a few times now. The start guide is easy to follow. The battery life is great for the watch. Syncing to my android phone was easy and was also simple to sync to my laptop. Overall excellent purchase. I highly recommend if you're a runner!

LOVE POLAR products. This is my second one, upgrading from the Polar Loop. This tracker just got better because they released a new version that allows you to make it a smartwatch as well! The GPS is accurate and all the functions work flawlessly. The biggest issues I have with this tracker are #1. The charging port is difficult to get to and a pain to sync up to a computer. #2 The "alarm" and watch beeps are WAY too low and almost inaudible unless you are in a completely silent room. #3. There is NO vibration alert on this tracker. For those reasons, I am upgrading to the V800

This has been the best thing I've bought to train for my half marathon. It also tracks swimming and hiking for when I occasionally want to do other things. I love that it's also white and it hardly gets dirty. I wear it everywhere.

I purchased this activity tracker after returning a fit-bit blaze. Overall I've been very happy with the product. The Polar Flow app on my phone is also great. It pairs well with my bluetooth heart rate monitor and cadence tracker. I also use MyFitnessPal and Polar Flow is able to use Google Fit in order to sync my activity.
The only issue I've had was an update that took down Polar Flow for three days and I lost all of my activity.

It talks to the heart rate monitor and to the footpod, so you get a nice, detailed analysis of your exercise on your wrist, your smartphone and online.
They've also promised that it's going to be able to show notifications from smartphones, which is a nice feature at the price.

Love this watch. Used to run with my bulky phone and now it is so much easier with the watch. Love the Polar Flow app, sync is easy and allows you to relive your runs. Like that it is water resistant can swim with it and take showers and not have to worry

Too many things that are awesome about this product. I pair it with the H7 heart monitor and it is flawless. Love it. It even shows your texts and incoming calls! Didn't know that when I bought it.
