This is Polar's mid-priced training computer and is a very good value for the features which it includes. When combined with Polar's on-line Flow program, you are able to collect and customize an enormous amount of data/analytics to measure how you are doing, tailoring your data for a large number of different activities.

This watch has many features. Probably too many features for a beginner. I use is for walking, biking and weight lifting. No problems at all!

This takes fairly accurate track of the steps taken in a day. But the real benefit is the heart rate monitor blue tooth connection and GPS.

I've literally run through mud, muck, and fire with this watch, and it's performed PERFECTLY. I get a ton of compliments on its look, design, and function, and it does everything I need it to and more. GREAT watch.

Looked at the Garmin Fenix 2 and Polar M400 and very glad that I went with the simpler, easier to use Polar. It does everything I need it to do and doesn't take weeks to figure out all of the bells and whistles. Love the watch and the 'Relive' feature on the Polar Flow website is really neat. On a side note though, I had to take the first one back as the charge plug on the back wouldn't charge the watch after 2 weeks of use. BB exchanged it for me and I'm on the 3rd week with the 2nd one and no issues to date.

I am an owner of a moto 360 first generation smart watch. I've owned it for over a year now and I've loved it. Then I started working out, and runnign more. I then purchased this watch with sensor so that I could better keep track of my fitness. I prefer this polar watch over the moto just because Its nicer for working out. In addition its waterproof which I need for my job and I dont feel like it will scratch as easily as my moto would. Great watch if you're into working out. Definately choose it. There could be improvements like a date displayed on the home screen. Other than that I love it. :D

I've owned other similar watches. Theyve cost less and the quality showed. This one it's far more superior to the ones i purchsed in the past. Way to go polar. I will recommend it to my workout buddies.

I have had several fitness products/ bands they all kept failing. So far this is the best product that I have spent my money on.

I have not any problems with this Polar device and it has surpassed my wants and needs. Quality product for those that are training and trying to hone in their running.

Purchased M400 HRM in December 2014. Worked OK for a while, then syncing became slow and fnally stopped. Returned for warranty service (at my expense) in March. Worked for a few days upon return but has again stopped syncing. Tried reloading software, unloading USB drivers, and different computer - no joy. Cable works fine with other devices. I really wanted this to work. Cons: DOES NOT WORK, odd 2-button operation, support poor, takes a LONG time to sync when it does work Pros: Standard USB cable, many activity options, decent battery life,

Absolutely love it! my old watch would always lose signal and this one doesn't at all. Great display, great features!

Heartrate monitor strap feels accurate. Watch a little bulky but works well.

Great workout watch. After using it for several weeks the heart rate strap is very consistent and finds your heartbeat immediately unlike other brands which require constant adjusting.

I had an older Polar watch and was quite happy with it. After working on cars, etc, I did scratch up the face pretty good and was a bit difficult to read the display, but didn't really want another watch. To my surprise, my wife bought me this new Polar unit. Yea, it looked nice and all but I thought it was too fancy...but I'll try it out. This thing is way better than I thought! The display is so easy to see now and being able to set up the screens the way I want it, is awesome! very easy to get set up on the computer and then you can download it to the watch via bluetooth. I have the Polar App on my phone and when I open it up, it prompts me to sync with watch. I just push the back button on the watch and away it goes....all synced to the phone. Then the phone pushes to the website automatically, where you can then review your activities more in depth. Very pleasantly surprise how much I like this watch. It also monitors my movements throughout the day and keeps track of calories I've burned walking around the office or just sitting at work. Prompts me if I need to get up and move around too. I'm sure it's more accurate if I wore the HR strap, but it does work without it too (just no the HR stuff). The only drawback is the size. It is a little big on the wrist but I've grown to it and not as bulky as I once thought. Definitely a great unit and a great bang for the buck! Exceeded my expectations! Also, I thought it would sync with my old HR strap, but no go. It needs the newer "bluetooth" one so be sure to get the package if you have an older Polar.

I love this with the heart rate monitor! The activity level is great because it makes me want to make sure I get 100% everyday. I would recommend this too a friend but only with the heart rate monitor! Only 4 stars because it doesn't have some of the nice features like Fitbit with the vibrating alarm or text alerts. Not needed but a nice bonus!

I was originally looking for fit bit when I found this watch. The Polar watch is large, easy to read, and tough. The GPS functions well and syncs within one to two seconds. The chest strap has plenty of room for adjustment and the blue tooth syncs quickly. The Polar App is pretty good and the desktop software is excellent.

Fabulous product! Seamless interface with Polar's online processing to review training. I use both for biking and running.
