I was searching for some mics and I was looking at just regular corded mics, then I decided to do a search for GoPro mics and the Polar Pro mic popped up and without even opening the package I ordered to corded mic, I purchased this product. For a small mic, you can tell the difference compared to just having the GoPro. I think this is a good product for those looking to extend the sound quality of their GoPro. Though I did have to purchase "The Frame" for the GoPro so I had the ability to attach the mic, I think this product is worth having in your GoPro collection.

I purchased this microphone hoping it would help pick up sounds which were further away from the camera. I go to a lot of concerts and the audio on the GoPro is ok, but it could be better. I did notice a difference while filming with this mic, especially with the included windscreen on. Also the right angle adaptor included is much more useful than the GoPro Mic adaptor.

This mic works extremely well in high wind situations! I've been looking for a mic like this for a while, and this one really does the job. It does not work well with the wi-fi enabled on your Go Pro Camera, so make sure you turn wifi off or else you'll get interference noise. Other than that, great addition to the Go Pro arsenal. The improvement in sound quality on a Go Pro Hero 3 is fantastic. Also, Polar Pro has phenomenal customer service. You can check out my 3 part mic review at MrMaynard77 on You Tube.
