I bought this because I can see the propellers on my Mavic pro drone sometimes when shooting straight ahead. This helps a little bit, but it doesn’t completely make the propeller movement disappear from my footage.

When going fast especially in sport mode the hood will be in the shot but its worth it for the gimble protection. I clipped a pine tree and the mavic fell 4 foot with no damage to gimble.

Love the fact that it will protect the gimbal and allow air flow through the Mavic. There is a very slight blocking at top of the screen shot when the Mavic is in sport mode.

Easy to install and stays put. Had to cut away some material because of vignetting at edge of drone camera lens.

Doesnt work as expected, and there is still some glare due to adding it, but I guess we get what it is for the price

Snaps on easily. Doesn't cause sun flare while taking photos or videos. Still provides some protection for the gimbal which I appreciate.

I bought it for my DJI drone to reduce the glaring when flying up during sunset and it worked great. It reduces the glaring problem very good.

Works as described. Seems a bit pricey for the product, it's made from very thin plastic. I can easily see breaking the tabs that hold it on the drone and/or cracking the hood. I used it once, and not sure it helped too much. I'm sure it works much better if the sun were in a certain position in relation to the drone camera. If you want one, make sure to buy it on sale.

Not really useful. Can be seen fluttering through my camera while in flight. No where near worth $20

This is a great upgrade for the MAVIC. Much better than the original clear dome that comes with it!

This sun shade for the DJI Mavic Pro / Platinum does what it is supposed to by protecting the gimbal and blocking some glare.

I wasn't sure if I would need this, but after not using it, I am very happy with the footage, and reduction of lens flare.

This is a must if you fly when there are harsh shadows or the sun is low on the horizon. Also at a great price!

This device not only blocks the sun at certain angles, but also protects the gimbal in the event of a rough landing.

worked ok when shooting during the day but had an odd glare at some angles.

This cover is perfect for blocking out glare and prop shadows from pictures. Highly recommend to anyone that has a Mavic.

Does a good job of blocking glare. Comes off pretty easy, so I doubt it will offer much protection in a crash.

was just wanting to upgrade some of my drone accessories to obtain better safety for my mavic. Did not disappoint!!!

Always always alwats buy Polarpro when avaialable. Great product selection, and never had a problem.
