I highly recommend this polarpro. Its lite, strong and has many uses. My main use for this product is backpacking. Between my gopro and iphone it covers all the bases. Interchangeable adapters goes from selfie to monopro to tripod mode. With other adapters your shooting and video experience is all in your imagination. Those were the pros. The Cons: twisting the three poles to get extension is not so great but it works.

Very versatile . For groups etc. this isn't a plain ole selfie stick. We puta smartphone omit so a person that couldn't attend a wedding could "be" there via Skype and it worked like a charm

PROS: compact, good grip, tripod and selfie stick in one unit, works with other phones, goPROs and compact cameras CONS: no bluetooth remote button to take the selfies, blocks charging port Bought this to go along with my Otterbox uniVERSE case for iPhone 6 and this review will only cover this application. It comes with other attachments so that you can use an iPhone 6 Plus, other camera phones, a goPRO, or any compact camera. I already owned a selfie stick but wanted a tripod as well. This is a great combination of both, but it's not perfect. The main thing it lacks is a bluetooth button or some way to take the selfie. My other selfie stick had a detachable remote so I'm using that with this. The unit when collapsed is a mere 9 1/2 inches and when it is fully extended it is about 19 1/2 inches. The handle is very grippy and opens up to form the tripod. Each leg can open at different angles to accommodate for uneven surfaces. When you attach your phone to the Polarpro, you have to decide if you want to take your picture in landscape or portrait mode because that will determine which socket you will attach it to. I wish the uniVERSE connector was rotatable because the portrait socket blocks the lightning port. TIP: Due to the uniVERSE case being a little slippery, I keep the Polarpro mount attached to my phone because the two sockets give me a little more grip. Unfortunately it does add some weight. In conclusion if you need a tripod I would recommend this product. If you need a selfie stick, get something else.

Love this new Trippler product. Exactly what I was looking for for quiet some time -- a cellphone tripod/selfie stick and with the third feature as a pole stand. I don't own the OtterBox uniVERSE iPhone case, but the cell mount adapter works well with my iPhone 6s with a casing!! As a tripod, it can stand tall up to around 27.5in - 31in (2.29 ft - 2.58 ft), depending on the size of your phone

This tripod is a compact multi-functional accessory perfect for a mobile outdoor lifestyle. I use my cell phone and gear 360 interchageably with this extender/tripod. The legs seems as if the are too thin to handle job of a sturdy tripod, but they are not...i used the tripid on a creekbed to steady my 360 camera for a waterfall shot. The only complaint i have is with the telecoping sections. They twist to lock into place (nice feature)..unfortunately the twist to unlock doesn,t always release without a fight. Defintely better than a failure to lock..it is still the best compact tri-pod/extensiom i own

I use the polarpro for my phone, it's strong enough to support an iPhone 8 plus iPhone at full extent. Also use it for my Sony a6000 camera though I would not recommend it at full extent though. Great for traveling.

It worked out perfect when taking photos with my iPhone plus and my GoPro.

Bought thus as a tripod tabletop platform to do FaceTime interviews from my iPhone -Works great for me

This is item is great! I film videos and I love this because now I can set up my video camera on a tripod and then use my iPhone to catch B-roll. Also great for Facebook Live and other social media videos. Get yourself a Polar Pro and stop playing games!

I love this thing it's totally awesome took me a minute to figure it out but once I did it did exactly what I needed it to! I no longer need some to hold my camera while recording audition takes!

This is the tallest tripod for phones, the fact that it is a tripod, Selfie stick combo makes this the best tripod for any phone hands down.

I don't have the uniVERSE case, but this is still useful and I really like the rubber grip that doubles as a tripod stand.

Overall it’s a good stand, I got I.T for my GoPro. Downside is that there’s a pivoting arm at the top and you have to toy with it to get it centered and level.

Was going on a cruise for the first timeand had just picked up a new Samsung Gear 360 camera. Was bummed trying to stand camera up on its own , or with the little rubber ring provided so did a little research. This works perfectly and gets rid of the thumb around the camera on the bottom of 360 photos/video. Easily transportable, and extends out rather nicely. construction is great. Nice to set up and walk away to take 360 video, also works well to get some height on your photos.

I purchased this item when I was on travels in San Diego for Comic Con 2016. I was looking for a tripod to help get great low shots and came across this. Best Buy did do a price match against a compeditor which was great. I use this to get great shots of my DJ routines I do in the studio. I would recommend this for all film enthusiast using their smart phones to capture great moments.

This is a must have if you have an iPhone 7 plus. It makes things perfect for pictures.

Needed a versatile piece that would work well alone to hold my iPhone 7plus sturdily and convert to use on a true tripod, this did the trick. It is actually sturdy enough that I typically don't set the tripod up and just use this. The handle that expands into the tripod stand is great and is durable so far and allows it it be compact. No more carrying multiple pieces of equipment,yay!

Great little tripod. Legs expand far enough to allow for a stable position. Neck telescopes to about 2 feet high. Clip holds iPhone securely. Several extras provide but did not need them nor use them. Caution using in breezy/windy condition outside, a little top-heavy and iPhone will topple over and crash to the ground when telescoped to its maximum height. Beware of this.

This is now the 3rd Otterbox Universe product I’ve purchased and I just love it!
