I didn't want to go big and I wanted to be able to comfortably have a phone attached to the Spark remote. I use the OTG cable(currently downgraded app to v 4.1.15 from 4.1.18) and using it without some sort of mount made holding the remote awkward. This solves that issue and you can keep the "phone holder arms" closed while doing so. Makes this the perfect attachment for a comfortable, sturdy grip. Even has a cutout for the micro usb hole. When packing up the remote, I can't close the antennas with the mount still attached but luckily my case is big enough(or positioned correctly) to accommodate the perking antennas. I would probably be a little worried the mount would snap if the RC attached part had to be removed every time I fly. Attaching it was a bit scary as it didn't seem to have much flex to get it into place. I definitely prefer spending a bit more for a product that works this good and applaud BBy for keeping this product in stock at the store so that I could grab it prior to flying that day. Good investment if you're going with a phone over a tablet.

I love my Mavic Air, but if I had one complaint it was the awkward location and installation process for the phone in the remote control. It was super awkward messing with the clunky slide phone plug clip thing and I had to take the very thin case off my phone for it to fit in the brackets. I also disliked the non-intuitive location of having the screen at a bad flat angle BELOW the control. It felt unnatural to look down further to view the screen. This little phone holder adapter solved all these problems. Having the screen above the controls feels much more natural and easy to switch from looking at the screen to the drone, not to mention my hands are never in the way of the screen now. Also it is angled nicely to align with my line of sight while holding the controller in a natural position. Lastly, this phone mount holds the phone much more securely, is easier to plug in the connector, and I can leave my phone case on! The only thing to be aware of is you may need to purchase a longer connection cable to use with this device (not positive) but they are readily available for cheap everywhere. This phone mount adds the cherry to the top of this fantastic drone. Highly recommended!

Great product makes it easy to fly the drone with the phone. Works great with iPhone 8 Plus. Better than the holder on the controller.

I use this with my Mavic 2 controller and I can comfortably hold my note 9 with or without caselogic case. Folds up nicely and easy to assemble. Provides more enjoyable experience.

I have this for my Spark remote and fit awesome, it’s plastic but its good quality to hold the phone as a monitor. A must.

I bought this bc it was on sale and the mount for the original Mavic was more expensive. It works just as well for me. I got tired of taking my case on and off my iPhone XS to fly my Mavic, and this mount eliminates that problem. I stick my phone (in its case) in the mount and plug in a longer usb-lightening cable. No problems so far.

I never felt comfortable placing my phone into the DJI Mavic Air Remote handles. With this attachment my phone sits above the remote and just feels much better. As a bonus, I don’t have to remove my phone from it’s case anymore. Keep in mind that you will need an extra cable as the in luded cables are just too short.

Much better spot to have your phone. Quilty product. Nice tight fit.

I never like flying my magic mini with my phone because the controller would never fit with my case on my phone. Using this product elevates my phone to a better position and I can keep the case on my phone.

Must have this phone holder! The original phone holder on the remote has terrible glare. Moving the phone to the top of the remote helps with keeping your eyes on the drone and looking at the information on the phone

I'm glad I purchased this. I hated taking my case off my phone everytime I flew the drone. It folds up pretty small and doesn't take much room in my drone case.

Works with Spark and Mavic Air remotes! Haven’t tried it with a MP remote, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit!
