Bought a Phantom 4 because of "3 mile range". When I would fly past one mile I would get signal drop. With the reflectors on I can get to three miles with no signal drop. Keep in mind you have to have line of sight, so if you are three miles away be mindful of trees. Also, the reflectors reflect the signal in front of you, so if you fly behind the remote you will get signal loss at very short distances. I have found that I only use the reflectors if I am doing a long distance flight further than one mile. When/if you are flying out to three miles, be mindful of headwind/tailwind. You don't want to be out that far and find out it's going to take 10 minutes to get back when it took 7 minutes to get there and you only have 7 minutes of battery left. You can see in picture distance is over 14,500 feet with 4/5 bars of signal strength.

Easy to attach and I'm not sure if it extends the range. Haven't taken it out that far yet.

It makes it so much farther to fly. I'm glad I got it

I bought theses boosters with the understanding that my drone would get better range but I did not notice any difference with them after I installed them. They did nothing for the distance

Added a little extra range to get me where I was going as it was intended for. Very cheap and reasonable for what it can do.

While these are not expensive they are essentially a piece of plastic with tin foil on them. After multiple tests my range did not change at all in a perfectly clear and unobstructed area. The way these work is they divert the signal from a 360 radius to a 180 degree range. There are much better (yet more expensive) options on the market. These are just a mo ey grab for new pilots.

I was skepticle about about this product working as claimed, but found that it exceeded my expectations and extended the range of my drone. Did not fit well on the antennas of my DJI Phantom 3 Pro.

My intent on buying these were not for extra distance, range, but for a better signal. If you intent is a stronger signal and going a little farther than you P3P can go-I think this is for you.

First, I made my own windsurfer to improve range and signal on my Phantom 3 standard. It was very good. Then I bought these range boosters which also worked as well but looked better than the hand made one I had (they did not work BETTER, only LOOKED better). The metal foil was lifting off of the plastic and so I had to re-glue it. This wasn't a problem but it still needed to be done. Signal was definitely better but one has to then be careful to orient the radio controller so that it points toward the aircraft. Small price to pay for the improved signal.

This item literally doubled my range if not a little more. I am completely satisfied, well worth the cost. Only downside is they fit loosely.

Very cheap and capable upgrade for your copter. Adds stability and distance to your toy. Easy to install and remove.

Although you may see a slight increase in range during flights, these will boost so to speak, the transmitters signal giving you an increase in transmission quality.

They did add a little more distance for my phantom 4, I would say with 1 1/2 miles works well, up to 2 mile marker it helps a lot, you still need a clear path ahead.

This item will add some distance to your flight and helps to push through interference. A cheap way to improve distance.

Well my range definitely improved but the way it attaches to the remote they get in the way of changing modes and you can't change the tilt of the screen

I have moved up to the Phantom 4 and this item has made it possible for us to travel for an extra mile. A mile in empirical = 5280 ft. We were doing 2 miles with regular controller but with this item we travel an extra mile. I thought it would not work but it really adds to our capability. I feel a lot more comfortable because of this item. Thanks.

It works! Wasn't sure if I needed this or not but it was priced right so I got it. Haven't lost my drone yet so I think it works.

I noticed difference when is placed on the remote control. The differenece is not what i expected but is enough to deserve 4 Stars

Never used this because I never needed to.I will in the future.Simple and easy to attach and I read good reviews about them.
