Using the filters for their intended applications really makes the image you want to capture “pop”. I got these for my recent trip to Iceland and the results were absolutely amazing. As you can see below they made it look like a pro job.

The Hero 5 is already a powerful and versatile camera for action sports, but people forget it can also be used to capture real smooth, slow shutter, cinematic footage on very bright and sunny days. This combo package of ND and polarizing filters is a great tool to help you achieve those shots. The ND’s bring step down the light I believe around 3 stops.

ND (Neutral Density) filters are a must with fixed aperture cameras. Yes, you can change ISO, shutter speed and frame rate, yet this is going to affect the "look" of the footage. ND filters allow you to keep the proper shutter speed to frame ratio and have great footage in tough lighting situations.

Really reduces glare on bright days and makes colors pop. Added bonus it slows down your shutter speed and smooths out video. Great buy!

If your flying your Karma, or using your Go Pro Hero 5 or 6 on a sunny day...get these filters. Primarily a polarizer which is included in this package. It will turn an ordinary video into a beautiful scene with dark blue skies, greener fields, trees, grass, etc...and will almost completely eliminate the glare from water if you are flying over a pond, lake, or stream. It's way more professional. I record at 2.7K, 24 FPS, in Linear mode....with the polarizer attached....it just snaps on. The footage is very professional.

My primary reason for buying these was the polarizer. Over the years I've seen the benefit of using one of these. The ND8, I suspect, will also be handy at times as well. Regardless, the ability to slip the filters on was also desirable. I don't use the camera in situations where lots of jarring movement happens. I didn't want the type where you have to twist off the glass lens to install a filter.

These filters are a great way to add richness to the color and texture of your video as well as add protection to the lens.

It is a great set of filters when you put it in the GoPro it is sturdy and will not fall the only thing it will make small markings but it will protect your lens.

your going to need these if you want good color and remove glare plus when you use a long shutter cycle the nd filters will allow for that feathery look on waterfalls..and help to cut light in bright sun lit areas..

I think these are great but you can find cheaper filters w/ more variety. The polarizing filter seems to be the best out of all. Would definitely recommend ND Filters.

PolarPro definitely makes some nice filters. The ND and the PL are nice, not much use for the gradient filter though.

Definitely enhances the quality of the picture during the day, however it cracked on the 2nd day of use on the slopes.

The set of filters worked really good in the tropical sun. I visited Nicaragua, and the results were phenomenal. I would recommend this to other GoPro 5 owners.

Bought these lens for my go pro and the polar lens is great for flying with much better quality video and takes out prop shadow in video does great.

Excellent filters. Thin string to prevent losing them has no place to attach on camera . They are necessary to protect the lens

I put my GoPro in a bag and a couple of days later when I pulled it out, the filter was shattered. I wasn’t expecting it to be so brittle. The polarizing filter, while it cut down on glare and haze and gave more appealing contrast, it introduced a bit of blurriness to video which was noticed.

Polar Pro has some great filters available for the Hero 5 Black, my only issue is that I would like to have an ND 2.4. and 6 not just the 8 and a PL and gradient ND 8.

I have my GoPro mounted with a custom holder for my FPV quad, which flies at high speed. It's essential that I have an ND8 filter on the GoPro to bring out the best colors possible in all the scenes. Here's a video featuring the filter on. https://youtu.be/GQMwCX3Re74
