I am always looking for a better head lamp. This one has 615 lumens with a pivoting head. For the price it is a cut above other brands.

I don’t use it as listed, but rather as a task light when working in dim or farm spaces that aren’t easily or readily lit.

Great light but be prepared it’s very heavy and if worn too long hurts.

It's bright. Really bright. Has several useful light modes. It's comfortable on your head once you size it up correclty. Takes four AA batteries and is ok in the rain. Great for working in the dark, jogging, cycling, camping, fishing, or even working under a car. I only wish that you did not have to cycle through all the light modes to get back to the light you were using when you turned it off.

I purchased this for hunting, to use the red light to get out to my treestand before dawn and the blue light to find a deer after I hit it. I ended up using it for running before dawn too. It works great and has a bunch of settings (low, high, strobe, red and blue). The only problem I have is the movable light will move down one or two positions if I move my head to fast when running, but it still is in your field of view and you just have to reach up and move it back up.
