It’s an excellent set of speakers, with one issue
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought it open box excellent, total cost out the door was $377. At this price you cannot find anything that slightly even competes with its features and sound. Now, sometimes once in a while it WILL make a noticeable crackling sound from the rear speakers and when the movie or music is paused sometimes the sub will make a popping noise. I called polk tech support and they told me on how to do a full reboot and reset I did that and the issues went away somewhat but they are still present even with the latest firmware that being said for me personally this is in the bedroom and I use it at night and sometimes in the day but not as much as the living room system so I could live with a slight annoyance and a lot of times it clears up if you turn off Bluetooth on your phone in the room or if you unplug and plug back in the speakers it’s little things like that that make it go away but it’s not a deal breaker especially at this price point. Sound is FANTASTIC and so are the feature, remote, style etc. setup is easy and it feels like a premium product. I would not buy it for $500. But for $377 out the door it can’t be beat even w the speaker sounds.

Great sound but I think I got a lemon batch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound! Unfortunately I had problems with mine and will be taking it back for repair this fourth time. Becomes unresponsive and has to be manually powered cycle. I had replaced almost every single component from previous repairs. Good thing I bought the extended. warranty. Again, Great Sound!

Awesome entry level sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought my son the smaller center sub version last year for Xmas after auditioning all the units within the similar price range. Polk was the clear winner. Purchased this unit for fall back in case installers said in ceilings speakers I purchased wouldn’t work on my second floor. Installers canceled before xmas due to unforeseen issues so I opened the fall back set.Set up was unimaginably easy. I plugged up all components in reverse order and system synced. The system is awesome. Some reviewers expect $2k-$3k sound for $600. Get real. I paid $400 on deal of the day and would have been just as pleased at full price. ( and it hard to impress me!) I have procrastinated on starting me family room surround system because my wife and I love the sound and ease of use. I was prepared to spend 3-4K but pretty happy now. Will definitely move the Polk system to another room when I finally decided to step up. Great buy from someone who is hard to approve of Mediocrity.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we like this unit We started with cheaper sound bars But found this one on sale ordered it up and are very pleased with it. It was easy to set up. It is a "Plug N Play". We purchased an open box unit did not get an instruction manual but figured things out.

Polk Magnifi MAX
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound bar for the money. Set up was very easy, simple plug and play. The sub is Powerful enough and the rear speakers sound good. The remote has separate volume controls for the bar, sub and rears. This make tuning too your preference very convenient. Sounds good with movies and music. This is a very good choice in the 500.00 price range.

Love it.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this system. The sound is great and the ability to adjust the voice so that the background sound does not overpower is exactly what I was looking for. I have been using it for about 1 1/2 years and it is still working perfectly.

Good main bar and subwoofer small range
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The range of the Bluetooth speakers are limited. If you have a smaller living room with close walls, then this will be a good set up, but an open layout minimizes how far it can be set up. But the sound is good quality.

Excellent Sound Quality. Super Simple Set Up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just love Polk products! I have 3 of the Magnifi Mini’s set up with 2 Wi-Fi turntables and our master bedroom tv and purchased this one for the family room! Incredible! Love the clarity, the bass and the ability to customize the sounds to your liking. The sound quality is wonderful… and I have to mention the ease of setting this system up… SUPER EASY! And last but not least, it comes with the mounting brackets that are also extremely easy to install. Great system!! You won’t regret the purchase!

Polk sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This sounds really good. The surround speakers make it sound better than the previous Polk sound bar. I will say, it makes a weird noise when my phone is near it and I don’t have it connected to the sound bar.

Polk comes through Again
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replacing a Klipsch RSB-11 sound bar due to hdmi switching issue. Huge difference in between the two units. The Polk has a lot more spacious sound and low end blows the Klipsch away. As for functionality I really like all the adjustments you can make with the Polk vs Klipsch as well. Has chrome cast built in and the Bluetooth is always nice too. Hooked my unit up to the chrome cast feature via google home app so that it can automatically receive all the latest firmware updates to keep it working as should. Picked mine up as an excellent open box through Best Buy for 299 so couldn’t be more pleased. They also have the end cap displays with these on them for you to take a listen for yourself, go ahead you won’t be disappointed.

Looks and sounds great well worth price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great for price. Got an open box excellent condition one and looked brand new. Extremely loud, has nice features. The bass is good, i had tried an lg for a couple weeks before and hated it no bass at all. I wanted a new soundbar surround to replace my older vizio one but had to have comparable bass. This pol on is pretty close maybe a hair less but it makes up for it in clear voices great optimized sound and quality. Only issue mine has which has happened twice now is when it shuts off from tv being off for awhile it refuses to turn on, remote wont work or button have to unplug it, assuming small error in my soundbar.

POLK Audio is a nice surround sound system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously I had a different brand sound bar which broke after a year and a half. I upgraded to this POLK model sound bar and so far it has been a good experience with the POLK. Sound is great for a sound bar and the convenience of having WIRELESS surround sound speakers is a plus. Previously I had a wired rear surround and the wireless feature is great, although you do have to PLUG IN the rear surrounds to a power source so make note of that. The bass module produces adequate sound. For what it is (a "theater in a box" type of purchase) it is very good quality. It's not going to give you movie theater sound (that's a much more expensive type of system with dedicated surround sound and multiple speakers all over the place) BUT, it does give GREAT SOUND for a portable all in one box purchase.

Nice system
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very critical when it comes to speakers. These speakers sound good for the money. Im old school with having the home theater stereo and 9.2 surround set up. This doesn't compare to my set up, but I also have about 4k invested in it. Overall for $500, its a great system!

Polk Surround sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this surround sound system but the subwoofer has frequent interference. The sub will start popping/crackling when the system is turned off. I did purchase an additional shielded power plug thinking this would stop this from happening with no luck whatsoever. In all if the speakers are on a deep discount, its worth dealing with this issue, to have wireless surround, but if you have to pay full price there's better wireless surround systems out there, until Polk resolves this interference issue. Great value if its half off, if not I do not recommend.
