easy to install and great sound, this made a great additional to the new smart tv we purchased also

Unfortunate pairing with low end Denon receiver. Speakers are crisp and clear, solid base.

I purchased this as a gift for a family member and it works wonderfully. The setup was beyond easy with the on screen step by step guide. I have to say the only con, in my opinion, is that on volume level 0-20 there’s little to no sound whatsoever. Once you get above the 20 mark you can start to hear it but this system cranks and the bass shakes the whole floor. Highly recommend for the price.

I have always been a fan of true 5+ channel true surround sound setups, but recently I have been exposed to some nice sound bars that with their clean and simple setup have me questioning my loyalty to true surround sound. After installing this Polk/Denon tag team, it reminded me that there is no competition. True surround sound, especially this kit, just engulfs you in sound. As others have mentioned, this box is HEAVY. Its definitely a good idea to open the box, separate the components, and move them separately. My box handles started to split as soon as I went to lift it off my porch. Starting with the Denon receiver, it looks slick, but above all is feature packed. It has enough hdmi ports for even the most demanding home theater user. The remote is large, but user friendly. Also, any connections are straight forward. Dont be afraid of wiring. Its simple. YOU CAN DO IT. The Polk speakers in the kit are surprisingly small, which I was a little worried about since they were replacing my old front channels, which were large tower speakers. But a benefit of being small speakers, they were easy to place, especially when wall mounting on a screw. After turning them on, WOW. These speakers put out BIG sound. And not just loud, beat up your ears, sound. Its refined and clear. These speakers will fill even the biggest room with more than enough sound. Everything said and done, this kit is everything you need to bring the power of a theater to the comforts of your home. This kit will impress no matter what you throw at it. Side note: This receiver runs HOT. Make sure that you have plenty of ventilation around the receiver. I originally had the reciever in an enclosed stereo cabinet and before it finished playing the first song I played on it, the receiver shot off due to over heating. Luckily, the Denon receiver has built in thermal protection to keep you from burning it up. I found I just need to leave the door to the cabinet open and it works just fine.

What a great system for the price! I didn't use the included speaker wire and subwoofer cable, and opted for higher quality wire and cable. I'm amazed at the quality of sound at higher listening levels. Very impressive system!

Great sound! The set up wizard is amazing and the mic sound leveling for the room you set it up in is great. Really balances the sound no matter where you put the speakers. This 8” sub packs a punch and fills a big room really well. The only thing I knocked a star down from was because this combo package says it has all the wires you need to set it up. It has all of them except for a proper splitter for the subwoofer cable in order for it to plug into the RCA plugs on the back of the sub Box. It was literally just a $3-$5 splitter, but it was just a little annoying to have to go back to Best Buy to get something when it claims to have all you need. Also make sure you have wire cutters to cut and strip the speaker wire for setting up the satanist speakers. It comes with a 100’ 18 gauge spoil of RCA brand speaker wire for that set up so there is plenty of wire unless you’re having to go in and out or around a lot of surfaces in order to wire and hide wiring for those speakers.

I upgrade my old Samsung to this one and the sound difference is huge. The sound is clear and amazing. Now watch the movies is a great experience.

Great beginner setup. Ended up adding two tower speakers and another polk sub. Now it's a full movie theater experience without leaving the house. Denon is a quality amp and polks speakers are crisp and clean.

Great product! Easy set up. Came in a huge box. Recommend an SUV if picked up or will need to pull the speakers out separate to fit it all. Full deep base to go with the 5 speakers. Very happy I purchased this system.

I had this audio system for months and so far no issues, and it sounds great, but it is missing a few things like Dolby Atmos ECT. But I still recommend this audio system.

Nice little home theater system. No as loud as I was thinking it would be. The clarity makes up for it for sure. Nice fit and finish of speakers too. I would buy it again.
