The first one we got was broken. The volume control didn't work and it roared. Polk sent us a new remote, but it still didn't work. We exchanged the product and the new one worked. It does the job but I wish the remote worked from a little further away. It's a little finicky and sometimes you have to press the buttons more than once.

Awesome sound from a small center channel. Easy to use and set up.

I was looking to upgrade my wired surround sound system with something of a wireless quality that was affordable. After realizing I would need to buy each piece separately to get a true surround sound system, I looked into the sound bars and found this Polk model to be of excellent quality. The sound was clear and the product comes with the added function of raising just the voices when the other sounds tend to drown out the conversation in movies or tv shows. Highly recommend the Polk version over the Brand names like Visio or Samsung as this bar completely outperforms those models in overall sound quality.

Happy with soundbar doesn't take up any room n sounds awesome

The Polk sound is good and much better than that coming out of my TV. Set up was easy but the subwoofer needed to be moved around so that it was not distracting. I had it over to the right as it seemed to be advertised as though you could put it anywhere. Not really... Best if in front or in back of the seating area. If off to one side, you'll occasionally hear movies sounds which shouldn't be coming from that side of the room. I do like the ability to push up the dialogue independently

Easy set-up, works well with Bluetooth devices, but best feature is volume control for voices - help to not have conflict between voice and background action.

The sound from this soundbar is wonderful! The bass is very good and controllable separately. There is a 'voice' channel volume that I wish had a bit more headroom, but the overall sound is wonderful!

We were shopping specifically for a speaker bar system that would enhance voices. Too often, the background noise from within the movie/TV show would distort the voices causing us to turn-up the volume above a comfortable level. Initially, we were looking at a deeply discounted Samsung soundbar to match our TV, but it was no longer available. We saw this Polk on the shelf and even though it was an open box buy, we took a chance on it. Not only does it produce great differentiation between background sound and voices, it also produces sound that you would expect from a much higher end system.

If you are looking for a great soundbar I recommend the Polk MagniFi. Besides having a great bass sound, it really enhances the weak sound that a flat screen TV has. It's a very natural sound and great for sound effects. This particular model also offers a voice enhancement feature where you can bring up just the voices. It works great.

Great product! I love you can adjust the voice on movie mode and music mode. Very simple to set up. As soon as I turned it on it worked perfect with my Bluetooth! For the price I don't think you can beat it.

Love watching action movies with the volume up and the speakers on the tv couldn't handle the higher volume. Researched sound bars at best buy .com and read the reviews for the price and ratings on the polk sound bar. It was easy to set up and was able to start watching tv with great sound coming from the sound bar. Watching movies that ive seen before, I'm able to hear the tiniest sound that i didn't notice before. I'm watching Game of Thrones from the beginning with the polk sound bar and the sound it produces adds to the experience of watching this great show.

Was buying a new TV and decided I needed a sound bar. The sales guy recommended this product and it was half off so I went with it. Great sound, love that it's bluetooth so I can listen to music from phone.

Looked at everything and loved the Polk features. Really excellent reproduction of cinema sound beast installation and set up. Once it's fine tuned to your ear, find your favorite DVD and crank the sound up. You'll be stunned by what comes out of this little sound bar and modest subwoofer. Accurate and punchy sound tracks right in your home.

Great product Love the sound quality would get another one

Let me start off by saying I am a huge Polk audio fan. I have a Polk model 6000 soundbar on another tv and it has ticked for the past 5 years. Still rocking to this day. Now on to this unit This is a wonderful soundbar. Plenty of power to give a great movie experience even in a large room. You get a very clear and clean sound. The bass is great from the 7inch sub. I feel this is really an area that Polk excels in. I got this unit on sale for $250. At that price nothing touches it. However, at the original $500 price tag I would shop around. There are a few other bars that can go louder and and really have room shaking bass. It really depends on you ears and wallet. But again at $250 this is unbeatable.

Very good sound - Can hear very well with all movies .

I love how this looks and sounds, however, it is either too soft or too loud when it comes to volume control. 1 "click" is too quiet and 2 "clicks" is like a concert hall. I wish there were in between options.
