I think Polk is really "known" for their car audio products, but after returning a Samsung model that could not mount to the TV, I figured I'd give Polk a shot; I'm happy I did. The sound bar is very sturdy and sounds great. The voice adjustment feature is great for action/adventure shows that may have a lot of extra sound effects that could drown out the dialogue. Would certainly buy again.

This system gives a lot of bass and volume but does not have any sorround effect at all. Its mostly unidirectional. Hard to even observe the 2 channels effect. I have hooked this up to a Samsung 8000 series SUHD via optical. Play songs via bluetooth from an iPhone 7 and the music gets interrupted so often and i first thought it was the lag from my phone even fully donwloaded songs from and iPhone or iPad kept getting interrupted like it was buffering. Disappointing performance and sometimes tinny sound when you play music. Ive adjusted the voice and music settings with not much success. Even if you can live with all these the remote that comes with it is the worst. Just muting and unmuting requires several presses of the remote and it takes 10 seconds to unmute. Dont know why muting my tv volume with tv remote does not cut out sound on the optical out. Overall not like the Polk i have experienced on in my car.

I enjoy the wide range of sound . The bass is great, and the other sound ranges are clear. However, the remote is very tiny, and only has a range up to 10 ft. I have to get up and move close enough if I am setting across the room. This is very frustrating, especially when I want to mute out those loud obnoxious commercials!

Voice optimizing works well. We no longer have to turn the volume up and down when watching movies and the sound while listening to music is very nice. We had trouble syncing our TV remote using the instructions that came with the unit but there is a website with detailed information. The only thing I have a problem with is we have to sync our TV remote each time the power goes out or we unplug it.

My husband and I had never heard of Polk before and it was a Best Buy employee that steered us in that direction, and we are so happy that he did! The separate voice setting really brings out the voices above the background music or noise. Many times if you turn the volume up, it turns everything up and you are still unable to understand exactly what is being said because of the surrounding noise overpowering the talking. This allows for the voices to be heard. We love this speaker system!

If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a Home theater system this is a good economical alternative. Will not satisfy audiophiles but it's not bad at all. I spent a lot of time listening and comparing it to other sound bars at Best Buy and there are better but you will have to shell out much more money. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone so it's good for listening to music, etc.

It's like being at the movies!! The sound bar in combination w the sub woofer speaker is crisp! You hear everything just like when you're sitting in theater!! I couldn't believe it and the price is pretty reasonable too! :)

Great addition, or I should say replacement soundbar. First of all, it is Polk. Good quality. The specific center channel emphasis is exactly what you need if you struggle to hear conversation, or voices in programs. This product allows you to boost the already emphasized center chanel, and adds a nice look and quality wireless subwoofer to boot. We love it. Ignore the complaints about the credit card sized remote. It is perfect and easy to use. Size does not matter! Sound does!

Excellent sound, voice center channel helps a lot. Only down side, volume is touchy, one notch change = big volume change.

The Polk Sound bar was easy to set up and the sound quality is excellent.

My tv recognized it right away walking me through the set up. Movies sound outstanding.

We went shopping for a sound bar not knowing a thing about what to buy. We hit the jackpot on this Polk! Not knowing a thing about this brand we fell in love with the sound and quality testing it at the Best Buy store. They had multiple different sound bars of different brands and sizes- we picked this one and have had no regrets . We couldn't be happier with this purchase!

got this for my mother who has hearing aids and cant pick out voice track on tv speakers. she can now enjoy tv again and understand what people are saying

Polk has great sound for the price. The subwoofer resonates. It was easy to install and compliments the speakers.

Great improvement over TV speakers. The Polk remote is straight forward and simple to use. The Sound quality it excellent for both Movies, Live TV and Movies.

This is a very good sound bar with excellent base. It is plenty loud and clear. For the price you cant go wrong

Bought primarily for center channel enhancement. Helped considerably( but I guess I still need a hearing aid!). It definitely adds quality to the sound.
