I first saw this item and immediately wanted it to go with my purchase of a Roku TV - I already had Polk speakers for my stereo system. Then I saw the price and my heart sank. It was nearly twice what I could afford. So I tried the TV without a sound bar, and that was almost like the speakers being in another room with dialog overwhelmed by the sound track when adjusted the volume. So I gave in and purchased a less expensive soundbar, but when I got home it just wasn't worth the price - I still needed the middle channel for voice. So I took it back, not sure what my alternative was. Then what to my wandering eyes did appear, but the Polk soundbar on a BestBuy sale - enough to fit into my budget, just barely. And it is everything I expected and wanted, something that doesn't always come together with electronic purchases. The Polk dedicated middle channel really makes a difference, and the background sound track is theater quality without overwhelming the dialog. I still get a thrill every time I turn the TV on and the soundbar kicks in. The video that it enhances seems to come alive. It's not cheap, but well worth the cost - even if you have to wait for a sale or until you can save enough to get it.

This is not the same as surround sound, but close. The salesperson said it was about the same. There is a great sound to the bar. The setup to work with your tv and cable remote is a little tricky, make it easy on yourself, call the support number and get them to help, it's easier to hear from them then trying to figure out the instruction on your own. Overall, I would get this again, but again, it's not the same as surround sound.

This soundbar had decent quality sound. Using the remote with the indicator lights can be tricky.

Prefered this unit because of the flexibilty I have w adjusting voice clarity, bass, and the movie/music modes...also sub is wireless.

The stock sound on my new 55 inch Samsung TV was good but the Polk Audio encapsulates you into whatever you're viewing, such as movies, sports or gaming on your Playstation. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The 7" woofer tucks away and adds a small piece of furniture + produces nice low bass. The soundbar's low profile fit well on the TV's stand and makes clear vocals. It's nice not to have all those tangled wires. A nice quality product that doesn't disappoint.

Love the speaker in the front and the subwoofer adds quality backround sound.Love that you can control volume voice and bass.

When listening to an orchestra, I can hear every instrument playing and when I watch movies the sub woofer puts me right there.

Great sound from this product. Set up was easy and no problems. Listen to music it through it and the sounds was great very impressed. The middle speaker is awesome for shows and movies makes a huge difference. Price was good I actually bought an open boxed unit and have had no issues and it looks brand new.

You get decent sound and bass. If I bought this at full price I would be disappointed. The remote that comes with it is very cheap and cheesy. It's obviously better than listening to TV speakers, but I wouldn't recommend it over similarly priced units. If it's a large living room don't bother.

Great bass and I like the voice adjustment and the blue tooth functions.

I have 2 sound bars and researched several others. This unit had great sound. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that the other soundbar I have, a Samsung model, always has the Bluetooth active therefore it turns on when I connect to it. This one, I have to go over and turn on before I connect to it. It's not a huge deal but the other one is much more convenient.

This soundbar is very powerful and sounds great for movies/gaming. Its perfect for someone who can't/doesn't want to place surround sound speakers throughout the room. Bluetooth works great for playing music as well and the adjustable bass is very nice. If you're looking at adding great sound to your tv without spending a lot of money, this is a great buy!

I've always had good quality Polk Audio speakers so I was comfortable giving this sound bar and subwoofer a try. I also tried Sonos and Bose systems. Granted those were way more expensive, for my needs this Polk Audio hit the spot. It's quality made and sounds great. Sure there is higher priced options out there, but for the price this one can't be beat!

So I want to start by stating that I live in an apt so right out of the gate I know that I can only turn up my sound-bar to a certain level before I become that annoying neighbor, however I can say that it packs a pretty good punch. I have watched Godzilla and love feeling the bass in the roar, and I have played Batman Arkham Knight and love to feel the bass of the batmobile. So all that said yes I do really much enjoy this product.

This is a pretty good speaker for the price. The options are limited and the volume is touchy, but it works well most of the time for what we need it for.

This device puts out great sound quality with a very small profile. The wireless subwoofer helps to minimize cords and puts out solid base. The bluetooth feature is a great addition and allows me to stream music from my phone through the speaker.

This is a great soundbar for a great price... BT, wireless sub are plusses!

I needed a sound system that was simple, and automatic turn on, this unit fit my needs perfectly and was slim enough to place under my 52" flat screen without installing any kind of spacer. Good sound excellent bass, I have been very pleased with this Polk sound system.

Set up was easy.Using it for large bedroom with 40" tv.Great sound ,voice clean,bass deep and rich sound.Also blue tooth for my i phone songs .comes in two modes ..music or movies .would recommend to all.Big sound for the buck! like the wireless kicker.
