Very nice sounding speaker,has good bass and looks good.

I have been using the sony core speakers with a denon avr for a few months now and wanted to upgrade my front channels to something with a better soundstage (better bass/mid bass) while maintaining a good high fidelity sound signature as the sscs5 provided. The sscs3 are notoriously bad in comparison to their little brother and now after having these XT60s hooked up for a day I believe these are the budget floorstanding speakers to beat! If you can get them on sale (136 as i did or the 180 they've been showing up for as well) they will not dissapoint! Retail. Perhaps go for the jbl stage a180 or something else. Overall, these things are awesome! All i have is the sscs5 to compare to for left and right main channels and those are rated all over the internet as being very detailed for the money and the XT60 i cannot differentiate a different/lacking of detail/ sound from them so I beilieve they deserve a 5 star rating.

Not only do they look good, but they sound very good. I have to admit that I was used to listening to some very vintage Jensen floor model speakers but the Polk put them to shame.

Excellent I love them sounds great good and highs wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Nice loud speakers good sound everyone comes to my house for movie night

For decades, we had Advent Graduate speakers (no sub-woofer). They're great, but we couldn't make them work as floor speakers when we downsized to a townhouse with a 14x30-foot main floor. Enter the Polk XT60s. At only 7.5 inches wide and 9 inches deep, they take up almost no space but get those tweeters back up near ear level. Hooray. The bonus? They also sound really good! The dispersal is great, so i can lounge in my swivel chair, my wife can sit on the sofa, and we both can enjoy the music. My wife is very happy with the clean sound, and I am hearing things (the drum stick scraping on the snare rim) we haven't heard before. Our listening is mostly low-to-medium volume jazz, with some Steely Dan-type pop thrown in. If you're a thumpa-thumpa hip-hop listener or like your heavy metal loud, these might not have the beef you need, but we are delighted.

Review for Polk Monitor XT60-Floor Speakers. After playing every genre of music at a normal volume (loud), jazz, classic rock, classical in High Res, and with my subwoofer turned OFF, sound quality is exceptional from these 2 XT60 speakers. Bass is deep, highs are clear, crisp and definitive. Streaming music in Lossless, Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Dolby Surround from Apple Music, it’s a treat to the ears. Even with the subwoofer turned OFF, Lossless, Dolby Atmos and Dolby 5.1 Music, bass is deep, and with a good punch. Audio from movies and TV are just as clean and concise regardless of audio formats. It’s all good from these Polk Towers. My new XT60s are replacing a pair of hard working Polk T50s. For now, and until I move to another apartment, the T50s are getting a well deserved rest in my closet. After which, I’ll use them for rear surround. I strongly recommend the Polk Monitor XT60s. And by the way, the XT60s are without a doubt... High Res.

Great entry level speakers for music or movies. I thought for the size, there wouldn't be much kick but I was wrong. Really pleasantly surprised by the quality of these tower speakers.

Solid sounding speaker, paired with a sony receiver and a polk sub on a pretty wide and open space it sounds great. Need to tune the settings on the receiver more for music but it sounds great.

I replaced the polk monitor xt20 on stands. These speakers have very good bass. Very surprised how good these speakers sound, because they are so small compared to other floor speakers. The monitor xt20's are now used as rear surround speakers. Using the new Denon AVR-S660H receiver to power them.

I bought 2 of these Polk Audio xt60 speakers. They look great and sound amazing. Very crisp and clear sounding. with plenty of bass. I would recommended these speakers to anyone that has a great sounding amp.

Wonderful sound and is easy to install. Paired with the rest of the system it sounds great and easy to manipulate the sound and features once hooked up.

Very good speaker for their size and price. Replaced an older set of Sony speakers and can really tell a difference.

Amazing towers for the price. Great highs and good bass. Although, adding a sub is always recommended no matter what amp or receiver you have.
