Great sound. Easy to setup. Purchased on clearance for $299. Not sure if I'd be so happy if I had paid lots more. Difficult to program to be operated with my tv remote. Separate volume for master, voice and bass is the best feature. Allows you to hear dialogue clearly without overpowering the entire neighborhood volume-wise.

I love this sound bar. Lots of power booming Bass. I have a Denon receiver 5.1 surround sound Polk Audio Tower speakers and Polk rear speakers and Center Channel and it sounds great. This Soundbar will replace all of that. I plan on purchasing the back channel speakers that is sold separately. And it has a quick response wireless subwoofer so I imagine the back 2 channels will work as well wirelessly. The only thing that drives me nuts about this system is it comes with a little tiny itty-bitty remote control that seems to have a hard time communicating with the sound bar. There are instructions to set up and use your current TV remote control but for some reason my Sony TV remote will not program to it. Other than that I would make this purchase again.

    Great Audio for Dialogue

Bought this simply from the reviews about having the ability to independently turn up the center speaker devoted for dialogue sound since I generally have trouble hearing that during loud scenarios. I must say, it works awesome and don't miss a word. The wireless sub has worked just fine is not overwhelming or annoyingly loud with no obnoxious rattling. The remote is a standard remote with nothing fancy. I do have two issues though one of which I will be making a call to Polk to see if there is a solution. First Issue: I wish the increments in volume were a little better, I feel at times it is either too loud or too low. Second Issue: The soundbar has a cracking/popping sound that appears sporadically. Not sure what triggers it, but it is annoying and I hope it is a defect in the speaker that can be fixed/replaced. Overall, other than the second issue I am satisfied with the sound quality and clarity.

The sound bar was straight forward to set-up. I use the optical input for the TV and the blue tooth adapter to listen to music from my phone. The system has decent sound, but it is only a sound bar with a small sub. It does enhance the at home movie experience. I feel like it is a good choice.

Soundbar has great sound and subwoofer sounds great. The surround speakers you can buy with it constantly disconnect.

The Polk Omni 3.1 produces a very good sound, especially with music. A bit confusing to set up but once set up it is very easy to operate. Had initial issue with remote control but Best Buy took care of me.

This sound bar has great sound. You can hear dialogue clearly thanks to the 3.1. You can adjust the center channel separately from the bass and regular volume. If you are looking for a system with great bass, this is a good choice. I ended up going with this after I tried 3 other more entry level systems. The first few I tried just lacked that umph I was used to with my old 5.1 surround sound. This bar has great sound but if you want a more surround sound effect, I would recommend purchasing the optional rear speakers. Which I will also do soon. I gave it 4 stars because of the remote. It’s very small and can get lost easily. You also have to point it pretty close to the center of the bar. It seems as though it doesn’t emit a very broad signal.

This fits the price perfectly. It's not as good as the Klipsch or Sonos big-brothers. I highly recommend getting Omni S2's for surround sound. The S2's suck by themselves, but are great paired as surround.

Outstanding voice and bass control! This unit probably doesn't equal the bass of a Bose, but it is good and rich. the ability to control voice and sub independently allows for improved vocal quality during intense action scenes.

It sounds really good and dialogue is much easier to hear and understand. Syncing the remotes is a little tricky and the remote provided with the unit is not great. But all in all a good purchase.

The sound bar and subwoofer produce great sound for a smaller room and amazing bass. Remote is a tad smaller and I wish it had rear speakers but all in all it’s worth the money

Excellent sound from this item. I purchased it on sale for $400... not sure if I'd recommend it at the 'sticker' price of $800, but overall I'm very happy with it. The sound is tremendous, and particularly the "voice" volume option is helpful when I'm listening on low volume and having trouble hearing dialogue. Two complaints: 1) The remote isn't very responsive, I need to be fairly close, and pointed directly at the sensor for it to work. 2) The volume levels are hard to read. In lieu of a number or sliding bar, there are little white circles that light up to indicate volume level, but I find them hard to read - especially when seated across the room.

Way better than the Samsung 3.1 soundbar

I originally purchased the Samsung HW-N550/ZA soundbar and was very disappointed with the sound quality even though it was a 3.1 soundbar. I returned it and got this Polk Audio soundbar on sale and instantly fell in love with it. My only complaint about this soundbar is that it does not have the HDMI capability it is only connected through the optic cable. All in all I highly recommend this sound bar at the sale price. I am not completely sure if it is worth the full price.

The sound quality of this system is very good however, when it comes to controlling it is another thing. My LG OLED TV uses a RF remote control whereas the Polk Audio Sound Bar uses only an optical signal. I cannot control the TV volume using a single remote control. Other systems use an enhanced HDMI port to control TV sound volume but not this model of Polk Sound Bar. Sound quality is very good, the inconvenience of using two remote controls is not good.

Picked this up to improve the sound on a vizio smartv. The sound is fresh and crisp with nice bass. We thoroughly enjoy using play-fi to stream music through the system as well. I am looking to add other polk products to my play-fi/home theater setup.

I love this system! I didn't even know of the brand or product before purchasing it, and actually intended on buying a Vizio system. However, the Best Buy salesman who was super helpful recommended this one based on what I told him I was looking for. And I truly love this product. It sounds great when we watch movies, shows, or gaming. And it was very easy to set up, and the remote makes it very easy to adjust the sound
