Perfect for today's technology instead of a huge receiver. Needed something that was more compact. It fit perfectly and has plenty of power.

The Polk Audio Omni A-1 amp is easy to set up and use. I had no trouble setting this up on my own. I think the app is awesome as well. Very satisfied with the overall performance of this product. My app controls two sets of outside speakers and four sets of inside speakers, four that were previously existing in the home we just bought. I bought two additional Polk audio S-6 speakers for the inside of the house which sound amazing . Now we have sound over the entire property, inside and out. All six speaker pairs controlled by an app on my phone. I can individually adjust the volume of each set of speakers as well. This is an awesome feature. Now I can play any music from my iTunes or Internet radio on any of the selected speakers that I choose and at any individual volume level I choose. Absolutely love it!

great for wirelessly streaming of music to remote locations around house with wifi. only con is it needs to be rebooted if it isnt used for a day or 2

i use two of these units to stream music to the patio. it works great but needs to be rebooted constantly if it goes a few days without use

I went between the SONOS and this POLK and I was definitley impressed with POLK. It was $100 cheaper east to set up and works great for my patio speakers.

I have already wired in speakers in the living room ceiling. Along with wired in speakers outside. The speakers and amp sound great. I wanted to be able to control them with my phone. Now I actually have that ability without spending a huge amount. Like the other brands for the same function. I live on an 3/4 acre lot. 2 of these, one outside and one inside the living room. I also have the wireless speaker from Polk Audio as well inside the dining room. I so far do not need to use the boost.:-).

Product wouldn't connect properly with the app and the Sonos system seemed more advanced and with more features.

We bought a house with ceiling speakers in several rooms and purchased this to play internet music from the smart phone to those speakers. Works great with a speaker switchbox that we also purchased. We can play what we want to hear and control the volume, playback etc from the smart phone into any of the 4 rooms that had speakers wired in. We can add more wireless speakers at any time if we wish. Works great! This was a better choice than just buying a receiver and connecting it to the speakers.

What an easy set up. The perfect addition to my ever-growing Omni collection. Eight absolute power house in a small package perfect for my garage!

I love this amp. I use it to drive a set of Bose 151 outdoor speakers. I connected it to my Apple Airport Express and now can use Apple Airplay to listen too all my music.

Does exactly what I needed. A little work to get it set up but otherwise a great amp!

I put this unit outside in a protected area for use around our new pool. It works great for anyone to connect and play their music.

Utilizing this for my outdoor speakers. I have several other Polk Omni products and this syncs with all of them

This wifi music system was the best I have used yet

I bought this thinking it would work for streaming my Google play music to a pair of outdoor speakers. Well, it couldn't. The Omni hardware appeared to be more than adequate, but the DTS Play-Fi software would not work for my situation. So, I returned it and bought the Sonos Connect Amp instead. Paid double, but the Sonos does exactly what I want. And it's real slick software too!

had a router issue, called tech suport, got a real person who knew the product and solved my issues.

love the product works well and I have gotten a lot of compiments

I purchased the A1 expecting its phono input selector to enable me to stream input from my turntable to the Omni wireless speakers. After updating the firmware, contacted Omni for support. Their response: "This feature will not be available on this rendition of the A1. The new A1 plus model will have this capability. It will be out in a few months." Apparently the phono input selector on the device is intended only for speakers hard-wired to the device. I asked Omni to support the device with firmware updates to enable streaming phono input, but got no response. To date, no "plus" has been released. Do not expect support from Omni.
