I upgraded to these from the Polk Monitor XT70 because I already have the Polk ES30 center channel. I didn't think I would notice much of a difference but I could immediately tell the difference. Before, I could tell the sounds coming from the center channel vs the Monitor speakers but now the sounds blend in and the sound field now sounds like it is coming from the entire front. Another thing I noticed is I can turn the volume up much louder with no distortion. I would recommend these speakers to anyone. Very nice

I would give them 4.5 stars but I can't. They are good solid speakers with good imaging. I put 4 of them in my Mancave / Billiards room.m

I was pretty disappointed with the sound of these. They aren't "Bad" but they produce a very flat soundstage, which I was not a fan of. It made dialogue in movies a bit muddy, especially when listening off axis. I think you can adjust this in the settings of certain receivers, but I ended up replacing them with a pair of Klipsch RP which are much clearer in the highs and mids.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
