These speakers are very easy to set up and produce great sound. They also take up less space then the speakers I had before and produce much better sound

This speaker is good for what you pay for. Theres speakers that give you boom boom boom and theres speakers that step it up and give you clean sound when pushing it and still get the good boom boom when you turn it up. I got the rest of polk surround tower speakers. Alone they give yoy a good punchy low. But for sure to get a much much bettta punch get the sub. Make sure the reciever you hook up your speakers to is not under 80 watts or over 180 watts per channel. If its under you wont get the peak of the speaker if its over, you can blow your speaker. Make sure you talk to the best buy salesperson and letem know what reciever you have n watts

I was reluctant at first to make this purchase, due to the quality deterioration of Polk Audio over the years. I kept reading positive reviews on these, so I did extensive research over the net....all came back very positive. I have to admit, the reviews were 100% correct. I hooked them up with OFC pure copper 14 gauge wiring to my old JVC receiver. Remember these ARE NOT 8 ohm speakers, so 14 gauge is what is required to get the most from these speakers. Also I'm able to set up two sets of speakers so I run these in front and surround with Bose 301s.....sounds awesome. I only use to play my vinyl collection....not using for home theater at all. Some say the bass isn't there, me, I say more than I like....I'm old school and bass just ain't my thing, so no problem with me....I'm a "treblehead". These speakers look great, super quality, better than ones that are triple the price. Easy hook-up. come with rubber pads already installed for hardwood floors....don't even have to install the bottom pieces....will be stable on carpet. Best Buy had the best price and trust me, I checked every place you can image and then some. I'm glad I took the chance and saved some MAJOR bucks....let me say again, great value, great price.....save your money and purchase a pair....Polk is trying to get their reputation back and this is a great start. Back in the 70's/80s....they rocked for an affordable price....

Got this on sale. Though this is Polk's entry level to sound systems, it functions flawlessly, excellent frequency response for small speakers. I was surprised by the bass response too. No you're not going to get thumping, wall shaking bass. You want a subwoofer for that. You can still use this without a subwoofer and get pretty darn good bass response. Music is clear and clean, highs are also very clean without being tinny or brittle. These speakers can go loud too. Cabinet is very rugged and sturdy like a piece of furniture; solid. I love Polk products and this did not dissapoint. Make sure you have a good receiver to drive these properly to get the full benefit.

I got these Polk tower speakers along with a Polk center channel and they sound absolutely amazing I was considering a sound bar with subwoofer and I'm so glad that I went with the towers and center channel the sound fills the whole room and the Bass Is so good I don't even need a subwoofer and I got these speakers on cyber Monday for half price.

Bought a pair of POLK T50's these speakers have outstanding sound quality for a 2 way tower speaker and those other 2 woofers are passive radiators but the sound is full bodied and rich cabinets have very good solid construction and they look good next to my TV and with the rest of the furniture. Nicely balance sound capable of producing good amount of BASS nice crisp HIGHS. I am happy with these speakers and i recommend others who are in the market for decent tower speakers or thinking about building a home theater system consider these speakers and you will be highly satisfied with the sound these speakers reproduce.

These speakers sound great in my space, which is approximately 12'x14', carpeted. The speakers have clear sound and a decent amount of bass, even without a subwoofer, but they don't get to the super low frequencies. Overall, these take a starter home theater system up a level.

I placed these speakers in my basement, as I mainly listen to music while exercising. They fill the room (600 sq. ft.) with sound without breaking a sweat. I'm hearing things in my music that I've never heard before, as all of the ranges (bass, mid-range, treble) are crisp and clear. Excellent speakers, excellent value!

These speakers are extremely clear, highs and mid range sound excellent with music and movies. As expected, the bass is limited and a sub helps with the lows for a better overall sound. I would highly recommend these speakers if you don't need a lot of bass or if you are planning to buy a separate subwoofer.

I wanted to start out by saying this is my first set of speakers I've purchased. I would usually use some logitech speakers for a computer, but i decided to finally take the step and invest in some speakers. I mainly use it for music, but of course will use it for television/video games. The speakers have a great crisp sound, and look extremely nice. They were incredibly easy to setup, and didn't have to buy any additional banana plugs or anything for the speaker wire. Great speakers for me, however this is my very first set. I paired this with the Polk Audio subwoofer and love it.

I was looking for a pair of nice sounding stereo speakers for a small space and the T50s are perfect. If you just want some nice clean well rounded sound look no further. These are priced rite and work well with any reciever. They have good low end and clean highs. I was totally surprised when i got them unboxed how small and clean they looked. You cant go wrong with these little guys! If big bass is not what you needed and you just need something for a small space, the T50s will do the job.

Happy with my purchase of these speakers especially as I bought them at a great sales price. Noticeable improvement in sound quality (prior speakers were very budget brand). From a cost versus performance perspective you would be hard pressed to find something equivalent.

I got the speakers because I upgraded to 7.2, they were 50 % off for Christmas so I got them for $150 a pair. I was extremely surprised at how great they sound and they look great too. I would recommend these speakers even at the regular price. Very happy!

This is Polk's entry level floor speaker. It is excellent for both music and video needs. Good treble and bass and good clarity of sound. Not as powerful as the other models but a great speaker for the money.

Where do you put all the stuff that connects to your TV? These speakers produce a very nice full sound ..treble to base, and they have a small footprint on the floor with a raised position of the speakers that works well with the height of my tv.

Great bass for the price unbeatable, Affordable well built speakers. Looks good, Smooth once it opens. Well worth the money. Plays well for music too. Using it without subwoofer and seems like bass is well sufficient.

Quality sound at an affordable price. Got a pair of these for the fronts, a pair of bookshelfs for the rear, and a center and sub. The clarity and sound blows my old Onkyo out of the water. Great for movie nite and music alike.

I’ve said it before. I’m not an audiophile. But when these went on sale on Black Friday for $60, I jumped on them and bought 4 of them. I set them up with my newly purchased Denon AVR-X2400. I set them up without a sub woofer at first. After my Denon set everything up, it didn’t need a sub woofer. I then connected my subwoofer, and man. Now we’re thumping. Made my gameroom come alive. They make great surrounds too. Now my wife won’t leave my room until we binge watch the second season of The Crown. I’m glad I bought these when I did. Awesome investment.

I'm not an audiophile, but I really enjoy sound systems. I bought these because of the sale price. They sound great, nothing amazing, but work well to fill a small room with depth. I don't use these for the bass, but the radiators help with the mids. Overall great speakers for beginners or small rooms.

This speaker produces amazing sound. It is crisp and clear. Spaker was easy to hook up with my existing wiring and I could hear the difference immediately. The Polk speaker replaced a set of Bose speakers that had worn out. It’s a good thing I decided to purchase this speaker. It’s a great price for a fabulous speaker.
