I am using my Polk T50's primarily for my movie/tv streaming from my projector. I absolutely love these speakers. They were low in price and exactly what I needed. I highly recommend for anybody looking for a low priced entry level speaker!!

So far so good. Product was as advertised. Good product for the money. I have a pair and they have worked really well. Sound is great and the look is clean and simple. The size works for me as well, not too big or bulky and fits my space nicely.

Crystal clear audio for the price. They do lak the low end so you will want a subwoofer. For a first surround or even upgrading you can't go wrong for the price. The louder you go they will stay clear of distortion.

A acoustical two way towers, with passive radiator’s. Simply said, a nice tight bottom end, with a mild mid_ranage, and brilliant highs. Polk, has been around since the early seventies. Therefore, you have engineering from past to the present. Entry audiophile, with chosen components, that will not be costly.

First time my wife and I have purchased speakers in several years as we usually don't buy separate! Hooked these babies up to my older Yamaha Receiver and absolutely love the great coustics they provide! Clear thumping bass, crisp treble, and astounding mid-range! LOVE THEM!

When my trusty L-100T speakers rotted out and required re-coning, I decided to donate them to a speaker shop and find something smaller...and lighter. These fit the bill and the price was right. Sound is excellent, as well, very efficient. Great purchase.

Starting off my first ever home theatre build with the Polk Audio T50.
It is very widely recommended as a beginners theatre speaker. A Must buy when it is on sale. If you could fork up more money get the S50 or S60, but if you are on a budget then this is the speaker for you.

These aren’t top of the line speakers but not top of the line cost either. It’s a good quality speaker. They sound and look good along side my tv. I use them for my front mains in a nine speaker set up.

I purchased these (each) tower speakers early Feb 2019 for my Onkyo Tx-NR676. For the low price that they were on sale for (which is often for Polk Audio), these speakers have sounded amazing and have not had any audible distortion issues or required major EQ adjustments.
The towers have 1 active tweeter & mid range driver, and 2 passive radiator cones. Other reviews here can explain the purpose of this design much better than I have patience to describe.
These can handle a lot of sound and can get loud, but only as good as the rest of your home audio configuration. I wouldn’t expect them to sound great by themselves hooked to a 4channel amp on a car battery for your backyard keg party while Susan, after downing 5 Smirnoff Ice’s, cackles obnoxiously loud at Todd’s Dads dad jokes. Keep them indoors and add the equally impressive Center channel and bookshelf speakers for amazing sound!

Very good speaker for the price. I wish it was a little puncher with the mids. I also wish the store would have been able to hook them up so I could have heard them before I made the purchase. ... but that's on me.

I have hearing issues and the smaller speakers just weren't doing it for me any more. I saw these on sale and gave them a shot. I am very happy with them and I can now hear my television better!

Replaced a pair of dated Yamaha tower speakers mainly due to the large size of the Yamahas. Found the Polk speakers on sale and purchased them. They produce a great sound and look good. I'm not a sound tech but I do like the way they work with the rest of my surround sound system.

As far as a budget costing speaker you get more then what your paying for with these good sound even from a lower watt receiver I first had them hooked up to a Sony likely only putting out 45 watts of that now they are connected to a denon amp easily driving 80 watts rms they sound great
