Actually very good Sequel, The scenery filmed in John Hancock building in Chicago is awesome. Tom Skerrit is great for his part, as well as Nathan Davis as Reverend Kane. It is a must see. Good Sequel= A

I disagree with those who say POLTERGEIST is dated. It was the first major horror movie to draw on the conceit of poltergeists or other unnatural objects living in the television; newer movies have more elaborate special effects, but not this film's emotional pull. JoBeth Williams leads a fine cast in this family horror show that may be too powerful for young children.

very scary make sure you watch it with a good friend because you are gonna be scared out of your mind.

Poltergeist has always been one of my favorite movies. its scary, tauntly directed, builds suspense and you really care about that family. but once the sequels started coming they slowly went down hill with part 3 being the worst. its not a bad movie but its not a good one either. they went off in a totally different direction with part three and sadly heather o rourke who played carol ann in all three died during production. the original ending (which is included here though edited) was scrapped and a reshoot was done with a double. the special features more then make up for the movie and it gives you a great insight into the making of and production. my good friend david furtney gives an audio commentary as well since he runs the ultimate poltergeist fan site. if your a fan of the movies, get this if only for the bonus content.

One of the scariest sequels I've ever seen in my life!

I enjoy P3 from a filmmaking standpoint. Lots of trick photography and old school gags were used to create the effects. Is it a good movie? Not really... but it does have its moments

Director Gary Sherman will probably be best remembered for two films he made before Poltergeist III: the cult horror classic Dead & Buried (1981) and the lurid exploitation thriller Vice Squad (1982). In both instances, Sherman had the advantage of starting fresh, rather than being burdened with the task of reinvigorating a franchise under constraints that made the job virtually impossible. Completists and the curious now have the opportunity to acquire Poltergeist III in a decent audio/video presentation but there is not much in the way of supplemental material include on this blu ray. Recommended for fans only.

While not as good as Poltergeist II, this is still a worthy film. Once again, Scream Factory works it's magic, with excellent audio and video presentations, as well some fantastic supplements.

Shout Factory did a nice release here with special features and slipcover. Though the movie itself isn't that good. It is worth getting just to complete the series collection.

Another great success for the Poltergeist movies. The only draw back was that they mentioned the girl's name too much.

Great picture quality and fantastic sound. They did a great job on this blu ray!!!!!!!

Finally have this added to my collection and at that it's blu Ray! Way better.

so many years had gone by since I originally watched this I had forgotten the plot. That was a good thing, since I was scared so much it was unbelievable! I loved it!

I like the seried, great they did it for bluray, and at a great b price.

I have fond childhood memories of this one, though I'll be the first to admit the movie was not all that. Still a must-own for fans of the series.

It's surprisingly a pretty good sequel. It's a lot of fun to watch.

This is a classic horror spiritual movie but all aspects of this film were enhanced especially color, sound effects in comparison to original.

I had seen all 3 movies and I had been waiting for this too come out on Blu-ray. I have the other 2 and just needed this one as well.
