When I first started using this item, it seemed comfortable, but after wearing it for a couple weeks I am finding it a bit of ncomfortable behind my ear. Also, the range when away from my phone is realistically about 50 ft, vs the advertised 98 ft. I wear the unit ALL DAY LONG! And wish it were I bit less cumbersome on the back of my ear. I suppose my glasses might be a contributing factor, but I need those more than a headset!! I like the voice answering feature, so when I get a call, I can just say "answer" to take the call. Useful in my situation, for sure. I m told by others that my voice quality on their end is quite good, when compared to my old unit. So that's an improvement!

I bought initially since I’m a truck driver and would get a lot of background noise and it did minimize that issue. They thing I’m not pleased with is the sound. There is no bass. Sounds bassless and not so loud. Mainly used for talking so when I’m gonna get on YouTube i have to switch to headphones. I noticed a bubble where the top of your lobe is as if it will eventually start peeling. And the PLT fading off. I use this 5 times a week maybe 4-8 a hours a day. I will say it charges pretty fast.

I was very tempted to buy this by looking at the style. It dose have some pros and cons- Pros- 1) noise cancelling mics make calling pleasent. 2) voice command, controls on headset are great. 3) great in style. Cons- 1) when headset is not on ear the voice dose not switch to phone but vice versa it works. 2) changing rubber ear piece is very difficult. While replacing i broke one. 3) charging point on headset has a cap which is very small and gets in between while connecting usb charger. It is also delicate which might break away while trying to keep away while connecting micro ise charger.

Please try the following to reset the sensors: 1) Connect the headset to a charger. 2) Lay the headset flat on a non-metallic surface. 3) Turn on the headset for 2 minutes, power off. This is my second one I purchase because I gifted it to a good friend of mine. I had my for a couple years and it’s still going strong. It recognizes voices and has voice command and it’s comfortable to wear for hours at a time. It’s a great Bluetooth by plantronics.

I have been useing for about two months now it’s working great sound quality is great noise supresion is ok I’m hard on head sets it took about two weeks to fit comfortably kinda of a normal break in for me and new headsets

The "Plantronics - Voyager 5220 Bluetooth Headset" has a sleeker look and feel, is lighter than the earlier versions and simpler to pair with bluetooth devices... I Love it...!!!!! :-)

Will not use my phone eithout it. Great battery life, announces incoming call, who is calling if in contact list, ask if you want to answer or ignore call. GREAT BUY BEST I've ever owned. Also has carrying case to store and charge headset when not in use.

This is more robust & I like that but I had a Voyager legend which was louder than this one. It also does not fit in the charging docks I had for my Voyager Legend.

Guess they don't make them like they used to. Mine already has a gaping hole in the base of where I think one of the mics fell out. Only had it for 47 days. I've bought about a dozen of these over the past 7-8 years for myself, friends, and family...never had any of them break like this. Also, never had this many problems with my past headset (same model) connecting to my phone. For this price point, I am really disappointed. Hopefully, the company will stand behind their product and send a replacement.

The best Bluetooth for truck drivers it cancel any noise

I no longer recommend this headset due to the change in quality. Over the past two years, the quality of this headset changed. I purchased my 1st headset in 2020, had no issues with it and was very pleased with it. Unfortunately I recently lost it in the airport and purchased a new one. Because my former headset was great, I purchased the same brand. To my surprise, after two weeks, the headset broke in the area that allows the headset to swivel. Fortunately it occurred within the 1st two weeks and I was able to return and purchase a new one. My confidence in this Plantronics headset allowed me to rationalize the issue was an exception and I purchased the same one again. Well, this time it made it 30 days and broke in the exact same spot. This time it was outside of the return period. I will not be buying another one.
