Only for the die-hard fan. The story is very detailed, but has too much narration that goes on, and on, and, on throughout the film. And the unusual...er...groin feature of the animals is very adult. Might want to watch this to determine if the kids should watch this. It was so slow that it took me 3 sittings to get through the whole movie. Disney must have thought long and hard before bringing this story to the US market.

This is a great anime from studio ghibli. Its not a masterwork like ghibli's miyazki films, but I still enjoyed it.

I personally havent seen it but my wife who is a big fan says she loves it. Very cute for all ages.

A good story overall, but a kid or older will enjoy it, but toddlers will probably not be interested in it.

Great movie from Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata who have made the best anime films in existence.

There's a strong theme of environmental impact and we all play a role which was good but the pace of the movie was fairly slow. My kids really liked bits of it but this is one movies where I couldn't figure out why. My toddler was not interested in this one at all. A lot of people seem to like it based on other reviews but to me, there are lot of better movies to watch.

One of Ghibli's more unique film, a pleasure to watch. I really recommend it
