The movie was very entertaining and the action scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The movie kept me interested to the end. Plenty of action with good 3D effects.

I am not a fan of period pieces but this movie is one of the exceptions. The acting, cinemetography and character development were superb. You really get a feel for the charcaters and their experiences. I would recommend this movie to EVERYONE!!!

Decent Special Effects around a story that provides a view within a terrible actual historical event. Great casting but I will have to say that Kiefer Sutherland feels awkward in this tale as if he phoned in his performance.

I buy a lot of action movies because many have such awesome special effects. This movie does not disappoint in that respect. It also has good acting and colorization. Add this movie to your collection and you will enjoy watching many times.

The story of Pompeii doesn't have a happy ending. The movie does a great job at recreating the streets and the feel of the city. Gladiators, beautiful women, poor slaves, the usual. But like Atlantis, you know they all meet an untimely demise. Refreshing that it didn't resort to graphic scenes as the t.v. shows of the same period.

I had seen this movie and decided i needed if for my movie collection. It's a great part of history, good actors, has romance and plenty of Gladiator fighting. Price was really good for it being in 3D and regular Blueray.

This is a movie you can watch anytime. The ending was a surprise but good.

While the plot is a little thin and the romance happened a bit quickly the real star of this movie is the shots of ancient Pompeii and Vesuvius. Fascinating to see what this beautiful city looked like before it was destroyed by the volcano.

I really like the movie is not only the best of many great movie that I have seen in a long time. The only thing I have to say is they need to get to the next few scenes as to not let people drop off and get up and walk away from the movie.

what a great movie line. nice to see an old movie brought to life by the 3d mode.
