Very cute movie, my kids loved it. Had a great story and beautiful animation.

Fantastic anime. Good to watch with family. The city that this story is based is real and is located in Hiroshima.

It was a great movie, completely breaking out of the traditional role of kids’ movies.

All of Studio Ghibli's and Miyazaki's movies are well animated, although I found the story line of Ponyo less compelling than most. There are some beautiful visual scenes such as those of Ponyo's mother, the magical sea queen. But in other places, I personally don't like the drawing style as much as in other Ghibli films. I would recommend it if you are a big fan of Japanese animation, but it might not be the best starting point if you're just sampling Miyazaki's films. You can watch the movie in Japanese with English subtitles, or dubbed into English, and the voice casting is well done.

The Japanese have mastered classic animation like no other. Touching story line and soothing music. Whole family will enjoy.

My daughter and I love these Studio Ghibli movies. She loves how cute Ponyo was and loved the adventure.
