this is a great movie for kids and adults alike. Visuals are super imaginative

Not one of my favorite Studio Ghibili films, but the artwork, animation, and soundtrack are still as amazing as always. The story is definitely more for children, but it has its moments where it is a bit more heavy.

"Ponyo" isn't quite as good as "Spirited Away" or "My Neighbor Totoro" in my opinion, but it's still a great movie. Ponyo is one of the most adorable characters I've seen in recent years. Great for kids or adults.

Ponyo, inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's Little Mermaid, is perfectly quaint little picture from Master Miyazaki. Though light on plot, the film nonetheless is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
