A great accessory

But the MagSafe version is exactly what I need and can be removed whenever possible. The magnet is strong and works well. It only supports landscape mode, but I'm okay with that.

Only downfall is the inability of using my stylus pen in area of where magnetism is, but i did end up buying another pop socket a coupke weeks later!

I was concerned that the adapter ring might not be strong enough and that the popgrip might slip off of my phone if I fail around with it, but it is a seriously strong magnet! I have to pull pretty hard to even get this popgrip off. The pink color is also very cute.

Using a magsafe compatible case. The pop part has a metallic finish which she likes a lot. Like all new popsockets, the top part is removable so one can keep the magnetic base and swap out the top from a more affordable model. If the case doesn't have magsafe, there is an extra adhesive metal ring to add to a non-magsafe case, included in the package.
